When someone tears their ACL it cannot be repaired itself thus the recovery. But is it sewn back together or is it replaced with some other kind of connective tissue?

That's awesome. It's much harder to evade players when you're running directly at them which is what he does. He really plants his foot and launches off it in the other direction.

I really hope that Geary and Eddy arn't delisted. Haven't seen any of either but from what I've read their form in the VFL has been good and Eddy was AA at U/18 level.

It sounds pretty official but until I hear anything from the club I won't take it as fact. Plus, it has also been said that Brooks and McQualter had meetings with RL to determine their future and both passed the test. Also, I find it highly unlikely that they would delist Watts after his injury prob...

Repharsing it, I don't think Allen will fit the role next year. But I would too probably prefer him to be groomed for FB and hope that Gardiner can develop into a third tall. I think we need to develop another backmen before a forward and it seems as if Allen would be a fairly good chance to develop...

I was very happy with picking him up and thought the trade was a bargain but some people may be dissappointed not with King, but the fact that he was one of four players we picked up who will take 4 spots from 4 young players in the draft. But, I was very happy with it and as he is fit he should be...

It is an interesting one but I still see Riewoldt at CHF and Kosi at FF. But FF is a changing position and I'd see Kosi playing it the way Brown plays and Riewoldt as a fairly high CHF pushing back really hard so he can still kick big bags of goals. If we had a third tall such as a Charlie Gardiner...

He may be cheap but I wouldn't take him for nothing. It takes up a spot on the list and I'd rather have a 18 or 19 year old unproven kid taken at 75+ in the draft.

Simply Koschitzke. I'd like to see Goddard play as a high HF rotating through HF and the midfield. Hopefully Charlie Gardiner can develop into the 3rd tall as he will be giving a few chances initially as seems to happen with all new players. With Schnieder and Milne as our small forwards we should h...

I'd say King purely because Gardiner is more capable forward. If Gardiner got back to his best or near his best he'd be a better ruckmen than King but I'd still probably play Gardiner as #2 ruck. This is because he could spend a fair amount of time forward and possibly ruck inside the F50 allowing K...

If Ebert slipped to #9 i'd grab hi in a second. But, I'm no expert and only really going on wha't Ive read. I'd be inclined to going for a midfielder but wouldn't be restricted to a midfielder. Assuming Cotchin is gone, I'd go for in order Ebert, Palmer and Masten. Ebert is the prototype for the mod...

Hopefully Gardy can get on the park next year. If he can it doesn't really matter all that much where he fits. Realistically, it would be wishful thinking to think that both Gardiner and King will play all 22+ games. I reckon King will play about 16-18 plus finals and Gardy is anyone's guess. If the...

Looking solely at the trades we did fantastically. Schneider and Dempster for 26 is a bargain. King and Gardiner for pick 90 is also a bargain. How we managed to pull off the deal with Sydney I've got no idea. In the bigger picture however, it takes up four spots on the list and means we won't have ...

Not for mine. Not the type of player we need. Footskills aren't great and doesn't add any pace or class. He's a good inide player and while it would be good to have another good inside player we'd need him to have either some pace or good footskills. He is the type of player which is dying out and a...

Reading that article about trades I'd be considering McMahon and maybe Sam Power. Neither have been mentioned so far. McMahon is super quick could play Gram's role allowing Gram to go into the midfield or you could play them both off HB. Power would be a good depth player and could be a player that ...

Even though there was probably only a 1% chance of him playing next year it is still hard to take. It's been great watching him play and it sucks that he was 1 or 2 short of playing 100 games for us.

359 games and and counting.

Only 68 more to pass to Michael Tuck's record. C'mon Harves, you've got a few more seasons yet.

I wonder if anyone has ever played in 4 seperate decades? If he played in 2010 that would be four decades. Imagine that.

I wouldn't mind having a look at Lonergan. Not sure how or if we could negotiate a trade because he is rookie-listed but showed a little bit before his injury and is a far down the rung. Could play either back or forward and would be especially good with all this uncertainty and speculation about Go...

Riewodlt would be our most important by a fair way. However, looking at it from a different angle I think MG is our most important.
