I wouldn't mind the AFL sharing around premierships a bit more.
That would be generous. I think we've earned a break.

Re: Milne + Umpires = Bias
I can't believe they call Eddie a commentator. He is a barracker in the box and it's not just for Collingwood. His 'comments' today were so one-sided it was farcical.

Well we all have to go every now and then.
It's best to keep regular. Thanks for the reminder about keeping regular CityWest. You're setting a fine example yourself. ![Mad :x](./images/smilies/icon_mad.gif)

That is an incredible accusation Ace! Are you for real? Sure looks that way to the untrained eye. Surely the answer is not as simple and as obvious as it looks.

Re: Is the AFL corrupt?
Incompetence means we stand cheated of a fair result. No conspiracy but the result is the same. Do you feel cheated? Incompetence and lack of moral fibre in the ones officiating can do that to you.

Re: Analysis of last quarter umpiring decisions
I'm not impartial. I'm a Saints supporter. Even trying to be objective a little I think there's validity to each point you've made. Many decisions and non-decisions were baffling. I think this is a view shared by many. Even Plugger thinks O'Briens free was just 'technically' there.

Re: We where robbed
No I don't keep stats Plugger. Does that mean the bias I saw didn't happen? I go to the footy to enjoy a spectacle. I merely made the point that a pattern was identified. Like last night, the SCG game was officiated by the crowd. I was in the stands shaking my head at some of the crap. So were about...

Re: Where are the umpire apologists tonight?
'So the free kick count has to be equal every time?' No Joffa. Not at all. I don't mind a lopsided count at all. Some teams get clumsy, some continually play catch -up and make mistakes, some are second to the ball, some overdo it and push the boundaries as far as the rules go. I'm pretty sure I did...

Re: Where are the umpire apologists tonight?
Not umpiring fairly means that one side is cheated. 25 to 14 is laughable. The many unpaid Saints frees were laughable. Umpiring by feral crowd noise means that one team is cheated as the balance expected from an official is not present. The 'few mistakes' you talk about were instrumental because of...

"he should be along in an hour or so....."
I thought so too. Even he is embarrassed. His silence speaks volumes. (I'm sure he will claim to have been out of the country on holiday when we FINALLY do hear something)
Nothing can be said is the reality.

If you think it all came down to one crap decision in the end, you weren't watching the farcical umpiring throughout the last quarter. The umpiring went from indifferent rubbish to plan biassed.

Goddard may be in trouble for not reading from the AFL cue card - "Well done chaps, you certainly had the better of us tonight."

Re: Where are the umpire apologists tonight?
I'm off to watch Hawkesbury Jnr play tomorrow. I am currently encouraging him to consider umpriring. We have a big need in junior footy here in NSW. I think there's a whole lot more money in umpiring rather than playing. You get to play God with impunity. Look at P66 as a prime example. He's not arr...

Re: Absolute BulSSSSShite
Really proud of the crowd reaction at the end of the game. If the AFL can't understand how the paying public feels about the crap they oversight, perhaps they could replay the crowd reaction. I can see aussie actor Peter _____ hanging out the window shouting, "I'm as mad as hell, and I ain't go...

I reckon Plugger would actually look professional up against tonight's performance. I have faith in you Plugger, even with a slab the night before you couldn't be as woeful as the bias we saw tonight! Or did you share your slab with tonight's umps last night? ![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
