Re: A little perspective about Adam Schenider
Year - Goals.Behinds 2011- 30.11 (good year) 2012 - 8.6 (writing on the wall) 2013 - 4.4 (cooked) 2014 - 8.10 (cooked) 2015 - 2.5 His DE is now below average. That is perspective. His goal average has gone from 1.6 (2010) down to 0.5. An opportunist like him needs to score. The reason he now kicks ...

Re: A little perspective about Adam Schenider
Apart from those two misses at end - which he probably should have kicked although neither were sodas - Schneids was okay tonight, did some really constructive things. With Roo, Joey, Gilbert and even Farren out we're sorely lacking in leadership (given our chosen rebuild path) so Schneids is clearl...

Re: Live broadcast
I was at the ground (not a great one for spectators unfortunately, glad I'll most likely never return there, although it's cool being close enough to the action to hear them talk and call etc), and while we made our fair share of errors under pressure I thought our intensity and attack on the ball w...

Re:
Perhaps, a long way back...there was certainly talk of that back then too. Some of the footage on those videos is quite unique though as much of it was taken by the club rather than the TV stations of the time. One shows a Winmar mark against Essendon early in his career that live was one of the be...

Re: Stephen Milne's lawyers to decide on rape trial abandonm
And why is our captain at a rape trial? Show your support privately. Need sponsors desperately, terrible decision IMO. brand/face of club... I'd be a lot more concerned if one of our captain's best friends and former teammates was going through something this traumatic and he wasn't there lending h...

Re: Saints- Pass or Fail for Trade Period?
Fail sadly. really wanted those multiple first round picks as I truly believe it would have fast tracked our rebuild big time. Imagine having picks 4,6 & 7. Yeah but you're disappointed by something not happening that surely was never realistically a chance of happening, IMHO. I mean I would ha...

Re: Saints- Pass or Fail for Trade Period?
Pelchan said all along that the aim was 3 picks inside the first round. Given compensation picks etc, having 1, 21 and 22 is pretty close to meeting that goal. You can't evaluate potential business deals purely from the results without knowing how the to and fro was handled - if the other mobs weren...

Re: Rhys Stanley for Pick #21
I was really impressed with Rhys' kicking at goal this season. Regularly went back and slotted shots from 50-55m, seemed like his confidence was really building. Another pre-season or two and some decent supply and you could imagine him easily going to next level. With that in mind #21 is a bit of a...

Re: Butters comes clean-- Article 12/10
Well great, as long as everyone else is so blasé about our destiny being in the hands of an alcoholic. I love a drink as much as the next person - some would say more - but I've never let that impact something that has ramifications adversely affecting an organisation I profess to love. Disgraceful ...

Re: McCartney resigned from Dogs
I like Richo and reckon his game plan will be great to watch in a couple of years when we're used to it and have a stronger core... Lyon's plan took a couple of years to settle... Will Richo get to keep his game plan once Beveridge comes on board as Director of Coaching.. What does he direct, the w...

Re: McCartney resigned from Dogs
Do you all see this current situation at the Dogs as being very far removed from our situation with Watters a year ago? From memory there were whispers then that Roo and Joey weren't signing until Watters was gone, and perhaps Dal might not have made the decision he did if Watters got the bullet ear...

Re: Richmond inquires about Armo
One of the telecasts this year they had Armo mic'ed up pre-game (perhaps during too?) and he seemed to be one of the main talkers and motivators in the squad, especially in terms of encouraging and occasionally admonishing when warranted the young guys. Perhaps he was being more vocal than usual bec...

I used to like watching him play too, and as a rule I'm not often appreciative of opposition players when we're up against them. RIP.

Re: The importance of winning in the way we did, against Fre
I was just thinking too that it was really exciting footy to watch, if this is going to be how Richo wants us to play as a team moving forward I'll be happy with that. I didn't mind the old defensive game plans while we were winning, but if we can achieve positive results with a more attacking minds...
