Loewe was probably more reliable with his marking, and as alreay mentioned went OK. In the ruck as well. Interesting to compare their stats:

Avge disposals: Loewe 15 v Roo 16
Marks: 8 v 9
Goals: 2 v 2
Hitouts: 5 v 1
Tackles: 1 v 1

Loewe obviously has played 102 more than Roo at the moment.

Given we have given away Dawson for nothing, the timing of Max's return is perfect as we don't have anyone to play full back. I would have preferred to see Clarke, Polo and Peake go before Dawson. Half back flankers are a lot easier to find than key position players.

Let's hope Raph doesn't pass his blinkers on to the new recruit! No use two players continually getting caught with the ball.

Believe it or not, Dawson is the player we can least afford to lose. I'm by no way a fa of his but we don't have anyone else to replace him. Should have made him the priority and been prepared to lose Peake or Clarke.

Why has it taken so long. Finally we have a development academy to enhance the skills and characters of the kids we draft. All the club recruiting staff and footy dept staff were there at some stage during the week. On some days there were a few things going on a the one time so all the clubs split up.

Walls is just an arrogant bore. Probably has his nose out of joint because he had. Nothing to do with Lyon going to Freo. Walls has never liked St Kildare and never has a positive word to say about anyone or anything.

Who at Freo will coach Lyon drive into the ground to such an extent they want to leave the club and, like StKilda (the coach) with all their stubborness, will receive nothing for? Hopefully for all the other clubs, it will be Stephen Hill, Nat Fyfe or the like.

We put an offer to ESP. ESP contact Ross and put it to him. Ross speaks to Freo and tells them what he's been offered. They offer him a better deal and he deals directly with them and accepts it. Unbelievable.
