Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 12 2018
The only game on a Saturday night and we dish this up.... True to form. Put us on FTA TV......Guaranteed we will get pumped by 60+. Honest question. Does anybody under the age of 30 actually go for the Saints? Is the club endangered? No way are we getting any new or young fans anytime soon. I’m bra...

Mac goal with his first kick.
Probably gets him a big contract extension.

Re: This is the end
Would like him to go now and see if we can find someone that can get the best out of some players.
I would hate that he lasted the season and we traded players that go on to be guns elsewhere.

Re: Troy Schwarze - the unlikely hero!
Well it didn’t help! Neither did the hit outs directly to Wanganeen Bakes' old man in the ruck was he? Might as well have been, probably would have done better. Probably. Let’s put it this way. Now I haven’t seen that game since it happened so I’m making the assumption Gehrig’s hundredth came from ...

Stonecold, I’m not sure if you take everything regarding Hickey as a personal affront or you are taking the piss.
You are so angry that I can’t work out if you think he is Kim Jong Un’s lover or he bought the last Bunnings sausage on Saturday.

Re: Hickey dominated Nic Nat
Hickey was up against some serious talent last night. He more than held his own throughout the game. I’m a former ruckman, which means my opinion is sacrosanct. Beware those whom appose me. My word is gospel. As a ruckman, happy to have a 'Ruckoff' to decide gospel, name your price!!!!! ;) I think ...

Nice goal to Sinclair despite the umpires trying their best to stop it.

Re: Will the media turn on Richo/whole footy department?
I agree with SP. The media hasn't sunk their boots in enough. I'm hoping for at least a scathing article this week, going into full detail of how the team has gone backwards this year. I just posted up some stats. Not going to do it again but Richo is the only 3+ year coach in the past 3 decades to...

Re: The Administration Must Act!
Richo has had longer in this job than most. Which isn't necessarily a good thing but over the past 30 years we have had coaches that didn't last this long that at least got some success. These are the coached we have had in that time. My criteria was they had to coach for at least 3 years. Ken Sheld...

Re: Worst forwardline setup!!!
Whilst our inside 50’s are abysmal we aren’t giving our big forwards a chance when we bong long.
We are either kicking over them or on top of them.
It would be nice if we gave them a chance to run and jump at the ball. Not let them stand and let opposing ruck men take easy grabs over the top.

Re: The Administration Must Act!
I just think Richo is too conservative. He is conservative by nature and that comes out in his coaching. Not just on match day but during the week and in the off season as well. Conservative coaches make conservative teams. My favourite St Kilda line ups were never conventional. Maybe we were under...

It is the fist time in a long time we haven't built to at least finals. 1990 Ken Sheldon took a promising team to finals in 1991 and 1992 1994 Stan Alves rebuilt a team and took them to the top of the ladder and a near miss Timmy and Blighty don't count :) GT took us to Prelims RL to us to Grand Fin...
