The_dud... Just as the best kick from outside 60 doesn't make the best FF, neither does the best kick at goal. Does it take into account the pressure he is under while taking shots at goal too? Considering where we are on the ladder and considering the lack of other forwards we have he is under mor...

Personally i'd think a KPP is better than a midfielder, even if that is Judd. So if i was you i'd keep kosi and your first rounder. I dont think you guys could fit him in the salary cap even if you wanted too (including trading kosi). The fact we are the frontrunners could come down to 2 things. 1. ...

Re: Kozzie
If he dont stay Trade him for Fevola and pick 2? I agree with your fellow saints fans. That that trade would never happen. Partly because we dont have pick 2 and partly because there is no way would would trade a coleman medalist and a top 3 pick for a player who has potential, but is injury prone.

how old is Teague? Teague is 26. Unfortunately Teague is a KPP player stuck in a short mids body. He is too slow for todays modern game. He was allowed to play on this year, knowing that he would not get a game because of the great example he sets amongst the club and what a great leader in the ant...

what about whitnall? with doc clarke gone we will be missing an inanimate carbon rod for 08 unless rix can step up to the plate. sadly rix has shown to be effective at tackling, chasing and showing endeavour, and throws himself at the footy as opposed to the supersized tripple whopper. he would lik...

Would want him he is a bloody accurate kick (something we need) but the price would be far too high to get him. lol, this post is hilarious, because fev is actually one of the WORST, if not the worst, kick for goal out of all the full forwards This is pure crap and can be attribute to people lookin...

If Kosi genuinely wants to go to Carlton, they don't have to give us anyone, do they? Yes. Richmond would have first dibs at him in the draft if we didn't trade him. True, but it is possibly to strike up a deal that Richmond are unable to match due to salary capo restrictions. Say that Carlton has ...

I logged on today to post a thread re: Fev, then saw this thread and came to post the same. IF we can fit him in the salary cap, and IF we can get him for a decent price (probably draft picks + a okay player) then we should go for him. However, don't trade Goddard for Fevola. Personally i wouldn't ...

How about....Brendan Fevola? He is on the market (in a secretive 'off the market' kind of way). Would you take him? I've asked a similar question before about who would be your next FF and the answer i got seemed to be either Brooks/Watts. Now call me naive, but wont you be struggling if they are yo...

Don't want to spoil you party here, but Pagan was pretty positive he had the goings on at Carlton under control too. Always confident we'd 'turned the corner' and all those other cliches. I value his opinion re the saints, but he was Paid 600k to be positive about the blues. The question is Ive hea...

Don't want to spoil you party here, but Pagan was pretty positive he had the goings on at Carlton under control too. Always confident we'd 'turned the corner' and all those other cliches. Pagan was basically forced to fire Mulkearns and Elshaug as it was a power move by the club who had to be seen t...

Many rumours about Mitch and what is happening with him at years end. Yes him and Pagan didn't get along. Yes that was mainly from Pagans end as he did have a sook that Mitch nearly stole his job. As a result he was dropped as an assistant and remained in a 'player development role' or something equ...

TBB, there are a number of reasons why Carlton get a better deal at TD. Several clubs including St Kilda believe Carlton received preferential treatment. The AFL certainly do if you look at their annual distributions to clubs. Unless someone releases the contracts then talking about break even crow...

The agro round here is a real put off. Saintsationalism gone mad. Next we'll be sending TBB to cyber detention camps. He's obviously a terrorsaintist! TBB was quite diplomatic and civil. His articulate posts made interesting reading. The fact he managed to string 5 or more coherent words together t...

I think it's a fair comment to say that the Dogs and Kangas would be at the head of a re-location drive. Not sure about the Saints and Hawks though. Can't even imagine the Saints being moved from Melb. Especially since they have improved their financial status and member numbers. Hawks I don't know...
