Re: So.....what if Billings, Ross, and Dunstan leave?
If we lose all 3, it will definitely set us back... and it means more game time for Kent, Lonie and other fringe players... while Bytel, Connolly and Byrnes show promise they are still green. Don't underestimate the value of senior bodies.

Re: Back 7 and depth in 2022
Top 7 - Wilkie, Howard, Sinclair, Paton, Coffield, Webster, Highmore. Joyce is a handy depth player and could be a bag up ruck, not sure where Clav sits... Geary could develop our depth in Sandy, is there anything he hasn't broken..? Ideally Hill play forward and is putting the ball down the throats...

Maybe that's why Ratts didn't want to make the final this year?
Back to back finals at St K means the arse, however 6 years of promise equals job security - smart guy!

Re: List changes
Agree with your list, though with Haneberry still contracted he'll either be 2- 3 weeks away, or we need to pay him out. Lonie and Kent are depth from '22 onwards. Carlisle would be handy to have around, but I think his body is done. Have a gut feeling that Ross or Billings could go, Battle also pos...

Levi Greenwood
Levi Greenwood has announced his retirement, he's only 32 - think we should look at picking him up.
Strong inside mid with a history of concussion - would be a great addition to our list, how about a future 2nd rounder?

If you don't attend the game, you will miss a great tribute to Nicky Winmar when we launch the indigenous jumper for 2021 (also hopefully as easy kill against the Roos)

Re: Can we still make finals?
13 games remaining... Should win - Nth, Syd (H), Adel, Coll, Carl, Freo and that will give us 10 wins Won't win - WB, Rich, Bris, WCE & Geel (all away) So we need to beat Port in Melbourne and Sydney away, then get out the calculator and hope we sneak into 8th spot Finals looking unlikely, but w...

Re: Selection integrity time
Byrnes played well for Sandy and should come in, sadly I don't think Dunstan is the answer as good as he is in the 2s. Bytel should be starting in EVERY game, he's wasted as a sub. I would drop King and get him working on leading patterns for Sandy, in the meantime let's see what Wood can do? Maybe ...

Re: Hill is SOFT
He's one of the most skillful players on our list, and wasn't recruited for his hardness, or tackling, so I don't know why everyone expects him to be Jack Steele or Lenny Hayes. Ok, so he's down on form (not alone), and dropped an easy mark last night, but we've seen how good he is, and why we recru...

Curly, I hope you're feeling embarrassed by this post this morning. Paddy put in a solid pre season and spent some much needed time with his family after not seeing them for a long time. His absence is not the reasons we have lost.

Re: INs and OUTs strategy for Saturday
I'm going wholesale changes
Gresham and Jones out injured, Omitted - Butler, Lonie, McKernan & McKenzie (sub)
In - Marshall & Hunter, Bytel, Long (or Webster if he's ok), Kent as HF marking target, Wood to play 3rd in a tall forward line
