Given that 32 was a long way off.... and that we have had a few in recent times... Maybe we had a lot in the early days when success was not common and trying players out was not such a big deal (ie no contracts, $ etc). That sounds like a fair theory. Therefore, I'll have another guess of 90. Go Sa...

Yes, well done again. I think that would have to be our best ever half of football (as measured by the scoreboard). How many supporters at the game would have thought at 1/2 time that we would go in with a 7 point lead and win by more than 100? Even the most optimistic would have struggled with that...

seems like it is a hard Q.... or maybe people are more focussed on Christmas and other things. another clue... The 383 points streak stood for many years until 2004 when the 500 points streak replaced it as the best successive winning points margin. The 383 points streak was comprised of six games (...

No Selhurst Saint - it wasn't in 1991. We did have some good wins during 1991 though. R7 was adelaide by 131 points. We followed up with brisbane by 69 and then sydney by a goal in R9. However we then went down to essenscum by 28 points. A total of 206 which is good for a 3 game streak!! Then in R11...

Good try Selhurst Saint. 1997's nine game streak was worth 333 points. R16 we started with Hawthorn (won by 79) However there were some close results too (Sydney by 9 in R19 and Freo by 13 in R20). Because I won't be able to check progress until tomorrow I'll give the answer - 383 points (but you st...

Look that may be right re the Caaaarlton stat but do we care for Caaaarlton? No the stat is only for the Saints games (sorry for any confusion). I am turning the computer off soon. I will provide a hint tomorrow if you can't get it. PS We are talking successive points (points for less points against...

Melbourne is the closest I can get (in 1983) They had: Peter Moore played 83-87 (won in 79 playing for wobbles) Kelvin Templeton played 83-85 (won in 80 playing for footscray) Brian Wilson played 82-90 (won in 82 for melbourne) and Gerard Healy played 79-85 for Melbourne but didn't win until 1988 wh...
