Re: Roo and Bruce..................
Roo gets blocked a ridiculous amount. The blocking rule needs to be seriously looked at. We do it as much as anyone, and not playing the victim card here, we don't necessarily get a raw deal, although I do imagine the umpires are harder on the permanent/star forwards, expecting them to do more to in...

Re: How high can we get this year...
Melb, GWS both 50/50's.. Might get up in one of Rich or Cats.. Although will rightly start both as underdog.. Depends which team shows up on the day.. Guarantee we will win in Port. That's my only certainty left for the year. So, if I'm guessing, we beat Melbourne and Port, finish with 7 wins 4th la...

Re: Would we have any interest in Harley Bennell?
Do people who are dead against getting Bennell honestly believe there are no Saints players doing the exact same thing Harley was silly enough to get photographed doing, very frequently and are going through their own substance issues??.. I would 100% take Bennell, seems a likeable young man that ne...

Re: Free agency. Do we need it?
I don't think Sydney would have made the GF last year without Buddy. FA used correctly will be our cake icing. Bringing in a Luke Parker quality player right when we are about to make a move up the ladder will help enormously. What North and Ess have done is exactly what not to do. Bring in over the...

Re: Saints worst player today
In all seriousness, I think Sam Fisher looked a bit off the pace today. Obviously first game back in a while and got subbed off, but can't see him going on next year despite having a decent season so far (injuries aside). Truth is I don't really want him to go on as we need to transition into our ne...

Longer.
Been a massive critic, I did not see anything more than a slow moving tree with concrete hands that was getting toweled up by his direct opponent. Was fantastic today, by far and away his best game for the club. Most importantly, had little to do with winning the taps, and more about the 18 disposal...

Ray to sub?
Think Ross deserves a full game in the guts considering how strong he finished off last week.
Dunstan also started to find some form.
Savage seems lost when he's sub to me, the sort of player that needs to work into the game.
Tricky one.

Re: Sinclair may be rookie elevated
Incredible how someone with such obvious talent (enough for Billings to label him the best player he played with) gets completely overlooked in the draft. I can understand times past, not as many dollars into recruiting and scouts on the ground, but nowadays, it really is baffling how some guys get ...

Haven't been his biggest supporter, but Seb Ross was pretty much Sam Mitchell reincarnated (except that last turnover kick) in his time on ground. Terrific effort. Brilliant coaching performance. Roo an absolute marvel. Must be near our best ever. Shameful of the dogs fans to boo him relentlessly, ...

Boyd's 4 goal game was the worst 4 goal game I've ever seen.
Looks a mile off it at the moment. 1,000,000 miles actually.

We should create a poll to try and suss out who this alias poster is.
I'm going with Joffaboy/Bunk Morland.
Rogerfox early mentions cancels out Johnnie Member.
Or does it???????
The Jack Watts comment is what's swaying me towards JB/BM..
Love a bit of Cluedo.

Re: What has been missed in the excitement of Sunday
Dont understand this 'should have lost' statement. We won, and 'should have' won by more. We kicked 4 straight behinds in the last quarter, 3 of which were very kickable, and realistically dominated the majority of the term. Melbourne got on 1 fast break out of their defence which resulted in a behi...

Re: Longer Critics - enjoy at least a nice two week vacation
Hoping Holmes beats the odds and becomes a star - we need it - haven't had a good ruckman since Gardiner. Cant see Holmes being as good as Gardiner. Gardiner had ability, footballing nouse and some mongrel and played a bit like Mumford is today. Holmes is great tap ruck but has a long way to go to ...

Re: Longer Critics - enjoy at least a nice two week vacation
If that match was a reward for effort I'd hate to see a bad day. 8 touches and 2 marks, direct opponent, also very young, inexperienced and in his second game for the year, had double the amount and a far bigger impact on the game. He also lost the hitouts which apparently is his saving grace. Grant...

Re: Will it be 11 straight?
That d1ckhead Nathan Carroll's tackle on GTrain mid way through the first changed a game that looked like we were going to dominate. Early on GTrain was looking like he had 15 goals in him. Was just a machine. We were then hit by injuries and Brock McLean played the only good game of his career. Tha...

Lost our 3 small forwards in one hit.
Big loss, really felt he was ready to have another bulldogs type game, but over 4 quarters.

Re: Key Match ups v Dees
I'd actually put some pressure on Brayshaw, I have respect for this kid and his influence on games already. Agreed, seems to be the sort of player that gets involved in big plays, damaging and wins contests. Not the sort of guy who gets 20 touches and you didn't even notice him. \ooks a pretty spec...
