honest opinion, We should win by 6-7 goals. I have watched both doggies games and think they have looked piss poor.
No team can afford to stick 18 players in their half of the ground and score enough goals on the break to win in this day and age.

abit undersized, but thought he was good. has a good kick on him and also closes VERY VERY quickly on the lead - which most our defenders dont. Heres hoping he is a maxxy V2

that kick was actually half decent, it was the bounce which demolished us. Had it bounced kindly we had 2 players free on the over lap.Life Long Saint wrote:Be nice if Dumpster could hit targets.

Re: Why the missed Premiership hurts so much
I can't believe the media have just decided based on no real evidence that we should pull up stumps and go home? Did we play a season while I was in a coma and we missed finals? Did we have all our stars playing and they weren't up to standard? I don't think it helps a teams psychology to be consta...

Re: Oz article on riewoldt
The 15-30 meter pass or the spot up pass. The R.Harvey Pass.. true. harves 30m passes were so good. nicely weighted. and the winmar to lockett 35-40m pass. ooooooooohhhhhhhhh yes! they were sweet. these days mostly roo has to put up with helicopters, floaters, wide balls, air balls, sky balls and a...

Re: Oz article on riewoldt
for nick to be a strong player this year,it has nothing to do with how he plays as a forward. its one simple aspect of execution from our guys - The 15-30 meter pass or the spot up pass. you hit him on the chest with that we are a different machine, based on the fact nick will beat his man on the le...

It gives us a chance to fix these issues. if you want to discuss a concern its that i dont think roo has kicked a goal all pre season?? correct me if im wrong. when your paying a blok...

Re: AFL has changed again
footy these days has an element of punt the bloody thing long - ether mark it or bring it to ground and reset structures. the good sides are the ones who win the contested footy and are quick and precise which is a combination of skills and a well drilled gameplan of everyone on the list knowing whe...

Re: Not so confident now...
their is no reason to not be confident. round 1 nab cup against the pussies, slick ball movement and milera caps off a great goal. that same move was started off by tommy simpkin from full back with some ball movement that would have been outlawed under lyin. roo from my memory takes 2-3 games to ge...

Re: Riewoldt on "on the coach" Tonight
Its sad to think we couldn't win it all with rooey in his prime (09 -10) and that we now talk about him like his finished. If he gets back to somewhere near his best output on a consistant basis this year we win it all or go mighty close. I certainly don't think he's finished; just that he can't do...

Re: NAB Cup Rd 1 Official match thread
i just feel that once we get forward of the wing we should look to bring the ball back through the centre and ether hit up a leading forward or put it up and let roo have a chance to run at the ball. kids look good tho, props to ross, saad and ledger. roo was moving very well, didnt get much of it ...

Re: NAB Cup Rd 1 Official match thread
lots of things to work on.
need to improve our zone, sydney were constantly kicking over it to a loose man and running into open goals
delivery into forward 50 was WAY to wide, straighten up give roo + stanley etc a chance
