Just remember guys, as Confucius once said:

I reckon the Saints hardly get a mention anyway. Maybe I'm just needy for a glory fix, but this year there seemed to be a number of times where something really interesting happened in a game or a result warranted some discussion, and we got virtually zip in the media. Even Harvey's 350th barely got...

Jarrod, Jaclyn, and Julius. FFS.

Three feral bogans that got drunk and obnoxious, dragged some footy players into it and found a pack of hyenas for lawyers.

F off back to Wedgedale you fuctards.

i'm more into "the girl next door" look. Yeah, but if she was the girl next door you'd be pretty happy... Actually I think she looked a million times better in the first pic. She was a dead-set Aussie stunner - now she looks like some tragic American plastic doll with fake everything. Tal...

We had a couple of good wins in the second half of the season, but we had some shocking results too so I think the year was actually pretty even. Given that we were carrying so many injuries in the first half, I'd say there's some milage in the suggestion that we actually performed better earlier on...

Somebody quoted me some interesting stats recently - about Barry Hall. How many times he went to the tribunal, how often he was found guilty, and how many weeks he got - compare his record with St Kilda to his record with Sydney. I can't remember the figures now but if correct they were quite startl...

Whichever way you cut it, Milne is pretty good value for money. We wouldn't be paying him that much and if he puts in the effort each week, makes our opponents pay for a few errors, sets up a few goals and scores 2+ of his own, I'll take that at this stage. I don't think we would get more for him th...

I think Milney has improved constantly this year - his spectacular errors are becoming a lot rarer and he is putting in a lot of good work all over the ground, delivering to other players as well as kicking his own. Considering the positions he has played this year, ie spending a fair bit of time aw...

I've lost a lot of the 'loyalty' sentiment in footy. I see too many players who are in it for themselves (fair enough - it's a job for them) and not for the club. Players don't loves clubs like supporters do. Only a very, very select few do. True, you need to try and keep them, but they are still c...

The Draft

So how much do we know about the upcoming draft? Do we know who is likely to pick who ahead of us, and who we might be looking at? I realise there is still a lot of speculation involved, just wondering if there are enough fixed points now for some of the resident footy brains to start making some pr...

I think Frase did it beautifully. Obviously decided during (or before) the season, kept it to himself and went out like a king when the job was done. Served his time, didn't demand special consideration, and didn't bugger off 'on a high' mid-season leaving the club in the lurch. He was gracious enou...

And interestingly, both in with a greater chance of winning a flag this year than us

Thanks for the memories big fella, watching the Saints won't quite be the same without you up the front. Despite that mongrel image you couldn't hide your class, and you went out like a king.

(BTW, how good will that torn no. 9 guernsey look when it's framed...)

AGREE. 1 - midfield. We've got some great talent but need some hardness to contest and tackle. Get the guys fitter, faster and harder at it. 2 - goalkicking. Agree agree agree. Too often we line up for a standard set shot and look like it's too hard. Don't think about it, kick the bloody thing. If y...

They were clearly under instructions to get Adelaide in the 8 weren't they.

Only gave the Pies a couple of eveners when the score wasn't in jeopardy.

To The Top, you really are carrying on like a raw prawn about this. Are you a right-wing Christian by any chance?
