the question over judd is judd in a role. what clearly defined role does judd have at carlton? what aside from doing his own thing does judd specialise at? is he a tackler, a kicker, a handballer, a stopper or an aggresive midfielder? What an odd question! Why does he have to be catergorised? He is...

I have heard 3 weeks for Dempster but I was wondering when Miles was upgraded for him because Dempster must miss 8 weeks after that . Can anyone confirm when he was upgraded and if that is correct about missing 8 weeks. Does that include VFL footy? Perhaps the plan is to let him get some touch in t...

Interesting to see no one has questioned whether Cousins would have bought in to the pressure/tackling game style we are playing at the moment. I for one don't think he would have chased, tackled and harrassed as much as say a Mini or a Geary, which could have undermined everything the playing group...

Re: six day break to bombers nine
no what the result will be on Monday night its not fair that Essendon get an extra 3 days break on us We had a huge break between the Port game and the Dogs, so we can't whinge too much. We can't expect to get the best deal every week. Don't forget, we've won both times we've had a 6 day break so f...

I like the look of stanley Two points with Stanley that quarter - the tackle that stuck and caused a turnover on HF, and the ankle height pick up and handball, very very nice signs. And he loves to have a dip, has some real mongrel in him it seems. The pick up was BRILLIANT. Good signs for such a t...

Agreed Ghost. I think, though, any hint of damp will favour the smaller, more versatile player... Am prob sounding broken record like as I've said the same thing in other posts but three big giants lumbering around with their arms in the air while a slippery, heavy-ish ball comes in above head heig...

I agree he was poor tonight given his abilty. Thought he looked a little slack tonight (eg missing the opportunity when running in to open goal and lazy kick around corner to Gwilt when should have handballed - although Roo kicked the goal anyway). Having said this, it was only 1 game so I don't thi...

I thought McEvoy did some nice things in the ruck in the 3rd quarter. Granted he was against another inexperienced ruckman, but he showed that there was something there to build on. Loved little Jack Steven's tackling and Eljay on very limited time seemed to be able to get the ball and also layed a ...

i would think that with him being on 99 games and with the way that he has trained (inconsistently) together with his history of leg and foot dramas the amount of risk involved in him playing on a soft surface may be the final say on whether or not Rosso will play him. he may be a week two proposit...

I think we're forgetting that skinny legs seems to be the norm with our indigenous cousins. They are not in our game to provide grunt, they are there for pace and freakish skills so I'm not too concerned about the legs. They generally rely on not getting caught, and not on being able to shrug off a...

Interesting to see so many rate the Tigers - I actually feel they'll still miss finals this year. I just can't see Richo having another year like he did last year given his age and I don't think they have great depth up forward. I think (and hope  ) that the Pies will be the slider this year. ...
