Re: The Stanley trade ...what we think.
What did we get? Hugh Goddard? An epic fail from our illustrious recruitment team that chose McCartin over “you know who” in that same period. Just a sh*tty football club . Why do you bother ? I wish I couldn’t. But I’m stuck with this club. Doesn’t mean I have to justify their crappy decisions, or...

Re: The Stanley trade ...what we think.
Gave up Stanley and pick 60 for pick 21 which we turned into Hugh Goddard in the 2014 draft. We delisted him in 2017 where he was picked by Carlton as the first pick in the rookie draft. Pick 60 became pick 59 and was used by Geelong on Jordan Cunico. Not sure Stanley would have helped us in the 20...

Re: Very nervous about WC
Ball was past his AA form. He was not elite. Milne was not in AA or in elite form at that stage. Gilbert always started the season well, then faded just before finals, hence why he kept missing out on AA selection. Kosi was already well past his best due to injury. In no way, shape or form was Gram...

Re: Very nervous about WC
It’ll be hilarious Who will Teflon blame? The players?? It was the coach 12 months ago… maybe finally he’s got it?! We are a middling list Ross has had elite lists and couldn’t win a flag - he sure as s*** isn’t doing much with this list! Big call to say our list was elite. At best, it was an elite...

So a list of hiring and firing over a 12 month period proves we’re well managed? I thought so, your accusations have no substance. Enjoy your white whale hunt. A clutching straws argument if I ever heard one. A list of the so called “actions” as you may call it means nothing without results. Hiring...

The administration/board has done a few things in the last year. Which do you disagree with? If i've forgotten any, please add. - Appoint Lethlean CEO - Doing a full in depth footy review - Hiring Geoff Walsh - Sacking Ratten - Hiring Ross Lyon - Moving on Lade - Moving on McGlynn - Moving on Rath ...

Re: To any club administrator who might frequent this forum
Looks like another case of "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" Seriously, taking pot shots at the club all the time is ridiculous. Emotional outbursts due to frustration don't achieve anything. Look at the facts. We all know we're a middle of the ladder team with insufficient talent...

And we’re still waiting for our first finals appearance since 2011. You spent 2020 in a coma? You’re right. The only finals appearance we’ve made since 2011 is the COVID hub year. How very St Kilda, to hang our hat on that. No wonder we’re such a sh*tty football club. So, in your world, 2020 didn't...

St Kilda is just a sh*tty football club at present and until you start fostering a culture which is desperate for success, we will only ever be just another sh*tty football club.

More than you think.
Owens, Marshall, Sincs, Steele, Butler, Wilkie, Hill, King, Crouch, Battle and Gresh.
If R Clarke, Dawson, Eddy, Clint and Mini got games, why not the above.

Tonight hurt to watch. We are not good enough. But we knew that at the start of the year. That said- again at times threatened to win the game with a bit of luck. The kids will learn from the game. Other things we learned. Midfield exposed as not good enough and Sinclair is significantly better and...
