Good finisher and decent shot for goal.
Smart player around the ball.
Doesn't lack any heart.
Looks to be a pretty attacking player with little defensive side to his game.
Doesn't appear to have the endurance and running power to play midfield.
Doesn't have a body shape to become a runner IMO.

Re: So who has the story?
I have an acquaintance who played at PA with Lade for many seasons. He said he was talking with Lade last week and that the coaching group were shell shocked by the start to the season and largely blamed the injuries to key players like Marshall, Ryder, Paton. Doesn't instill a massive amount of con...

Re: Question about King?
Given the season is out the window, it might help Max's development to play him as a key back for the rest of the season.
Play him on some of the good KP players to learn their leading & running patterns and how hard they work.

Re: Question about King?
Thilthorpe took 1 game And he is 18 The biggest concern is his total lack of aggression and presence! Roo might have had some other talls, but make no mistake, he was the number 1 banana. He took 256 marks in 04 was AA centre half forward AFLPA MVP and B&F and he did this as a 21yo He was the b...

Walking out on Tassie Letting Luke Ball walk for Zip Not having the balls to recruit Cousins The 2009 trade period Every trade period Pelican was involved in Allowing Ross Lyon to walk The development of Armitage, Steven, Stanley, Lynch in 2009-2011 period Agree with the exception of Cousins. Re: The Biggest Blunders Since 2008
Hmm to get a Brownlow vote You are judged in the top 3 players on the ground in a game of League Footy I’d take that To have 40 odd like Seb Ross - would be even nicer The argument I have with this comment is brownlow votes are only relevant to midfielders or forwards who kick a big bag. As an exam...

Re: King Conundrum
Needs to stick the chest out and start owning the forward line Reiwoldt, Brown, Fevola, Lloyd, Tredrea style And they did it from a young age Champions are born with self belief Interesting comments. There is no doubt these guys strutted their stuff but all had either break out games or seasons whe...

If he ever starts watching Jack Reiwoldt and how he leads up at the ball he'll be unstoppable with his pace, athleticism and height.

Re: Sandringham v Port Melbourne
Sandi started well and had a 4 pts lead at 1/4 time. Ryder dominating and Byrnes getting plenty of it. Other than that our VFL youth depth is really quite poor. Allison runs around like a headless crook and doesnt impact the game. Just not a smart footballer. Paul Hunter is ordinary even at VFL lev...

Re: Saints to change its approach to Hannebery's persistant injuries
Can't wait for him to get back we are a far better side when he plays. Interesting comment, what do you base this on? Is it his contribution, leadership, training standards, on-field coaching or something else to which you refer? The reason I ask is statistically he appears to have little positive ...

Re: Saints to change its approach to Hannebery's persistant injuries
What a year Treloar is having. Just watched him play yet another great game for the Dogs. Reportedly he wanted to be a Saint, but we just could not afford the $$$ despite it being less than what he was worth. It rubs real salt into the wound we our two expensive imports cannot deliver on the park o...

Re: Saints to change its approach to Hannebery's persistant injuries
You have to cut the poor bugger some slack, imagine how bad he feels about his inability to recover from the raft of soft tissue injuries he has suffered since coming over from the Swans 2 years ago. It is all very well to argue that he is on exceptionally good coin, but he will be very much aware ...

Re: Billings played under duress against Richmond
Have had this injury on and off for years from running. It was explained to me that is was a difficult fix due to being a strong white tendon with minimal blood flow. Can reoccur for years. Short term solution for me was cortisone injections into the tendon but this masks the issues and breaks down ...
