Re: Saints to change its approach to Hannebery's persistant injuries
From heraldsun.com.au St Kilda is set to change its approach to Daniel Hannebery’s persistent run of soft tissue injuries in a bid to return the midfielder to the game and extend his career. The Saints on Friday admitted the former Swan was frustrated and hurt by his nightmare calf and hamstring pr...

Re: We Can Win v Port
Woke up this morning and stood up.
I noticed that my arse still points to the ground so I’m not in agreement with the OP.

Re: Jumping Jake
Why do we need this guy?
A young 202cm athletic ruck who can go forward and could potentially develop into a player.
We have ‘slips through his fingers’.

Re: What I hate more about this year!
What I hate more about this year is what happened last year - or to be more precise - what happened with one minute to go in the elimination final last year. The following week we played Richmond. My view at the time was that whoever beat Richmond would win the flag. Unlike our poor performance las...

Getting a bit desperate when the coach wants to inject a 2nd gamer into the side for a point of difference.

Go Dees. Go number 5. Guffaw. Chortle. Harrumph. Bring me a cheese and fig platter and a nice drop of red. It’s their fans that get up my nose. Love cheese and fig platters. Made one myself for mates at Perisher last month. Give the red wine a big miss though. For me it's the cheese and fig but wit...

Re: Our ruck situation
Question If Marlon Pickett lined up in the ruck against Paul Hunter and Jake Carlisle ... both whom are 200cm and 100kg Why didn’t either of the run and jump straight through him at centre bounce??? The audacity of him lining up in the ruck, should have been met with a knee in the chest!!! Weak as ...

Re: Interesting article re mid season deraft
Please no more has beens! If the club doesnt take the 6 months to identify a number of kids/players not taken in last years draft, then the recruiting team need to stand down. Yep, agree with that. Spot on, no more fill in has-beens or never-was in the case of 'slips through his fingers' please. I ...

Re: Weak as piss.
I spat the dummy last week after that pathetic, pea hearted performance and will do so again if it happens next week. I was very pleasantly surprised yesterday but like the shocker one good performance does not mean the team will provide that effort consistently. If that makes me weak as piss, well ...

Re: Match Thread: Saints Vs Eagles
Webster was clearly pushed in the back and Battle held in a f****** headlock. No worries for the maggots who gifted the weagles two f****** underserved goals. Nothing changes. Just watching the replay. Was clearly not a free to Darling against Battle, play on as they both engaged or free to Battle,...

Re: Youth & managing your list
First you need to build a list It needs about 6 A Graders A core of about 10 B Graders And 10 Fringe C Graders to round out the team and for depth Then you need some mature age D Graders. (Insurance) And around 8 developing players You are then hopefully contending?! Then EVERY year - You select a ...

Re: McKernan, Wood and Long omitted for WCE Game
As much as I hate to suggest it I think ‘ slips through his hands’ or Hunter should be the sub in case Marshall struggles in his first game back.
I know both are not AFL standard but at least can be cannon fodder to Nic Nat if required.

Re: Now that we can write off Gresham & Hannebery for 2021
Long season but we need a win tomorrow desperately to turn the ship around and get season back on track. The other issue is percentage usually becomes very important when you are looking at positions 6-10 and making finals. 70+ point drubbing to a bottom 8 team does not give one confidence we will ...
