Re: Rookie List
As I scroll through the rest of the delisted free agents, not many pop out to me. Although Jordan Gallucci has had his injury issue he was an early draft pick a couple of years ago, how are his foot skills? Sam Skinner has had several ACL's but could be good back up. Jasper Pittard showed at Port th...

Rookie List
We have plenty of rookie spots left, and I would be thinking about delisting a couple of our uncontacted players such as Clavarino. But should we also look closely at some of the delisted free agents such as Cam McCarthy and Chips. What do think?

Re: The New List
To the of my knowledge (which is just the same as the average punter) the following guys dont have contracts: Clavarino Marsh Savage Phillips Plus Lonie who has an offer and Carlisle who has reportedly agreed. Selecting only 1 draftee (unless we can trade up) I'd be promoting Wilkie, offering Savage...

Re: The Caldwell conundrum
Surely we should have a quiet word to GWS to see what they would want, and if we could make that happen.. ie pick 17. (Jy would be like a new draftee with more development). And then remind Jy's manangement that we are stil interested and inform him of his role rotating through the midfield & pl...

Re: What we need
So looks like we'll get Crouch as a free agent. If so that's awesome as he's free. -Now we need to lock down Jye Caldwell, as he's a player that will be best 22, and will improve us moving forward. -That leave us with finding a FF/CHF to partner Max King. - Ben King would be awesome long term. - Cou...

Re: What players are we likely to get in the trade
If we dont put our hat in the rig for Cameron and Crouch we're stupid! Cameron would be amazing for Kings development and only cost cap space. Caldwell great young talent, would be starting 22 Start there. Then.... -So I'd be approching Adelaide offering Dunstan & someone maybe Mckenzie for thei...

Re: 2020 and beyond
Realistically looking at out team we need 2 mids (1 developing & 1 established) and another key forward. Hopefully Caldwell is already locked in as the developing mid. An A grade midfielder is a must too make us a contender..... Izaac Heeney would do nicely, but I'm dreaming. Battle could potent...

Re: Trade Period Part 2- go do your thing Gubby
Can we bundle picks & players for Taranto, Caldwell & Xavier O’Halloran. Now that would be a masive boost to our midfield.
And why not snare Cameron through free agency. After we secure that deal of course.

Re: 2021 Best 22 - Spots Open
Great place to start as we start thinking about the trade season. I believe we have a good base for 2021, but the game against the tigers proved we have a few areas that need improving. Re: AFL Endorsed Cheating
It would be great is the club had the balls forwarded that type of information to the afl & media demanding them to explain and publicly apologises (happy if that apology comes in the for of cash settlement or draft picks.... but that would never happen.

Ok.... Out: Long (But have to appeal), Ryder, Carlisle & Kent In: Battle - to play tall forward to take pressure off Max Webster - to play longs role Robertson / Austin (who ever is in the best form / condition) to play CHB / tall back on Jack And someone to play second ruck, who can also contri...

Re: Paddy's replacement
Assuming Carlisle is playing, could we use a combination of Marsh, Battle & Carlisle for 5-10min each quarter. Means omitting Kent & bring in Battle & Marsh..... But I wouldn't be against to an out of the box idea and bring in Austin instead of Marsh if the coaches think he can play in t...

From that list I hope we're making a play for: - Alex WITHERDEN - and I realise we already have a lot of back blankets, but maybe they'll take Mckenzie. - JACKSON HATELY / CONNOR BLAKELY / WILL BRODIE cheap young mids with potential - Viney- ready to go & wouldn't cost much, but skills not the g...

Re: Time to get ruthless
Gunston is a great idea, however we should, use Carlise to facilitate a trade for Bailey Smith and Caldwell & shake the tree for Coniglio (long shot). Then utilise Gunston at CHB.

Re: Time to get ruthless
Great post Teflon. I believe a measure of where our list sits is that only Marshall, Steele and possibly Hill would get a game at Geelong and at the other end of the scale Kent, Hind, Lonie and Parker would struggle to get a game anywhere else Thanks not entirely true. Howard, Carlisle, Clark, Coff...

Re: About time we stood up for ourselves
The umpiring tonight was an absolute and total f****** disgrace. We have been shafted before. And we will be shafted again unless we take a stand. There must have been 20 or more dodgy decisions that went against us tonight, including some absolute totally inexplicable ones that cost goals. Put a m...

Carlisle
Why do we play him forward at times? I realise he wants to play down back, but some times you have to do what's best for the team.
Proved at the Bommers he can play Forward.
We could give Maxie a rest, play Carlisle forward and Battle down back or bring in Clavarino or Robertson.

Re: I feel sorry for Max King
Now I realise I said we show drop Max last night, but I may be we should play him up on the forward flank. Leading up the wings. He'd at least provide a target, might attract another opponent, leaving us a spare going forward.
Or bring Abbott in to play the same role a similar King
