There is a bloke named Jarryd Alen that was pretty good up forward too. As soon as he comes back from injury he may also have a claim on a spot up forward. :)

Great memories of the Buskers before and after the games. Even though I can't help much from London I hope you are able to stay put. Your website isn't working yet so can't add my support but I am sure that the Saints supporters there will help out. :)

What a missed opportunity to bring in Ross Tungatalum :D That would have been fantastic..he will be one of the great goal sneaks ever if he can add some muscle to that frame.

Just on the Max vs Zac debate... Zac really has impressed and seems to be getting better with every game as he builds confidence. I might be persuaded that Zac move up forward as a third tall, or swing Gilbo up forward and have Max come in. Zac was playing FF for the Haks reserve team, and does seem...

Playing the Doggies will be yet another big test. I expect we will be without Kosi and King, both automatic selections if available, but in their absence and if he has a respectable game in the VFL, then McEvoy should come in. Keep an eye on the game on Sunday and if McEvoy is pulled from the game a...

Just hope that everyone doesn't get too excited but all this as the season is way too young. That said, in 2007 when the Cats were so dominant, their VFL side was also super dominant, so this strength at Sandy cannot be a bad thing for us.

Thanks for the info. Very poor coverage from Setanta in London with only 2 games a week this year so I am hoping that I can get some more coverage off the net. After this weekends performance the Saints may be better than I hoped for in '09.. here's hoping

It worries me that during the draft we went for so many defenders. I'd say the club is very worried that Goose may not be able to get back on the ground. Would be a great shame as he really is a game maker and was very close to being an AA :(

Our midfield is comprised of good players, but they never seem to all turn it on together...against weaker teams its passable for Dal and Montagna to dominate and Ball and Hayes to be a bit quiet, but against good opponents that costs us the match...we need to return to hunting in packs mentality t...

If anyone comes in I'd like to hear who would be dropped. IMO if CJ comes in a very hard ecision on which mid goes out. If Charlie comes in then again a hard decision on which forward to drop. If Ferg comes in then you would have to say that Raph or Blake are on shaky ground. :?

really good problem to have, would rather see BJ play on a wing then down back, has been playing as a ruck rover for the scorps and there is no reason why he can't be a damaging winger who floats back into defence. not sure who to drop from the team but I would lean towards dropping king, play kosi...

Watched the replay on Fox Footy today and have to give credit to Eljay Connors. Guess who was in the pack that created the spillage so Steven could kick the goal? Yep the skinniest bloke on the park, and although he didn't have a huge impact on the game at least he stood his ground when the ball wa...
