If he is, it wouldn't be by much, but I would think that Goose is stronger/built bigger, but I'd expect Gwilt to be faster/more agile.

Again, just why do so many posters want Goose to play FF against Lake? Correct me if I am wrong but has he only played just two games as FF for Sandi and some on here want him to play FF against Lake in his first hit out this year??? I would like to think, if selected, he would be better off playin...

Out: Eddy, Kosi, Zac, McEvoy In: Armatige, Meguire, Max, Gardiner I dont want to be harsh but Eddy is definately not in the top 22. His main problem is his kicking, its not up to standard. Geary is WAY ahead than Eddy for me, although I honestly think Armatige deserves a crack. I rate Armo very high...

I'd rather Armo or someone else to be honest. Slighty lacks some foot skills (needs work). Turned the ball over a few times from poor kicks. Needs to have more "impact". Geary is imo much further ahead. Still, its not a bad thing for Eddy, always room for improvement, I just think atm thou...

He'll be back.

Saints held onto Dempster, I dont see why you wouldn't hold onto xman either.

Just unfortunate, not sure how Eddy was put into the side ahead of him though :S

If worst case senario, maybe the synthetic reco, 3 months?

I had 2 phone calls... Gardiner rang the first time, and I didnt sign. Was eating dinner + I went to like 2 games last year + short on cash. 5mins after I hanged up I changed my mind :S Then 15mins later, P.Cahil rang and I signed up 2x memberships. :P I actually had tried to sign up last week, but ...

Just had a call from Gardiner and didnt sign up (plus I wasn't sure it was him :P)... then another call 10 mins later from Cahil and finally signed up 2x memberships. I was just 50/50 because last year I did, and went to 2 games, plus in short on cash. (Plus the games last year were average/boring)....

The side is ok... Missing Lenny, Armo, Meguire, I would of thought L.Fisher would be playing ahead of some selected, and defentively before any of those emergencies... killed goodes last time, is the fittest bloke in the club, and is very big/solid so he can tag or be a key position player... Why wouldnt L.Fisher play on A.Goodes? Leigh killed him last year, and as far as im aware, he's our fittest player. Plus he's big and solid, can play in key positions if required. SaintBot lineup looks good, I'd swap Goddard/Ray though, still unsure if Gram can play on the forward flank.... I'd swap...

seriously Shaggy in your players that didnt play up to form you have mentioned Baker twice, Fiora twice and Maguire once - both were injured....and Baker only once.. We went on to make top 4 and Id argue Riewoldt also didnt perform up tio his standard (he really only played half a year). So...

Our approach has nothing to do with Sydney and again its a poor throwback to people saying "Ross Lyon is Paul Roos in drag" ...not true Im afraid. Our approach is as you state - to use the rookie list and shrewed later picks (anyone suggesting the drafting of Stephen King as a failure nee...

We definately rely on Roo too much. He's our CHF go to man, there is NO one else, and its been so predictable. There needs to be another target around CHF also. Kozi I assume will be FF, but he's been pretty average at it. 04 we had Guerra do it, along with Roo, Kozi sometimes, Hamil, so we had targ...

Bah, young youth policy.

Look at Van Reehan or whatever his name was. There were a few actually come to think of it.

Played all of 0 senior games, whats the point sometimes.

I mean, we get Farren Ray but not Cousins?
We might get Carrol but not Cousins?

Right...

07 was his best year. Main problem was consistancy, he could play some good games, then play some very average games. At the start he was able to kick those running goals from 50m, but for some reason, stopped. Took a few speckies here and there, I can remember at least three, the one at freo landin...

I cant believe we delisted Birrs and Attard Attard was playing some really good footy before he screwed his knee. Now that Dempsters stuffed his knee, Attard would be the perfect replacement in his spot next year. Who doesnt remember his effort near the boundary line 2v1, I remembered it, I dont see...

The side needs to change. Out: Eddy, Blake (if Injured), Xman (hasnt performed for a long time, sick of it), Gwilt (maybe?), McQualter (if no tagging role available) In: Armo, Birrs, L.Fisher, Fiz (smokey?), G-train (wishful but unlikely?) We definately need armo in there. He'd be the first in. Midf...

I cant see us seriously being dangerous without a forward line structure. Our gamestyle is ridiculously defensive as it is. When we go forward, we look hesistant nor look like winning at all. Too reactive. Simply relying on Roo as our main and only target is ridiculous. I know Schnider/Milne/Charlie...

This is true. The problem is when you're winning, everyone looks like a star. When your loosing, the average players turn crappy, whilst the good hold their ground. I thought Mini did his tagging role good, but did he even get a touch? What did he "offer" the team to create a goal? Greante...

That really p$ss's me off about Geelong. They dont throw away the ball when their tackled. Thats what GOOD teams do. We just give it away. But, having said that, the umpires were horrible for not paying holding the ball. There were so many times a Geelong player had an opportunity to get rid of it i...
