I saw him play his first game. His display set the footy world on fire. He just crashed the packs and took a couple of screamers. Kicking was a bit off line and he had his own way of dropping the ball point-end on to his boot.
Really good to see old and new mates rallying around.

Cotton wool for Gardiner? Do not like it at this stage.
If he is being nursed along then the real test will be flat out in a final.
Meanwhile young McEvoy will benefit.

Tony Walsh used to sit beside Danny Frawley in the Tigers' box when Danny was coach. Not sue what his function was- seemed to be occupied with player stats . Somehow he does not enthuse me.

Yes Lenny I relate to all you say. The psycho factor plays a huge part. As I said somewhere on this forum a few weeks ago the opposition teams are starting to use our plan of success against us and we do not like it and are falling in to error and disbelief. The question I want an answer to is- 'How...

It's hard-- and we have had to say that many times past-- but Maxie is a potential liability at times. He seems to get trapped in the goal mouth too often. Gone are the clearing dashes and great spoils of the past.

Have wondered for years why the Club has not struck a letterhead for domestic use That logo of ours would look great. The AFL would have to approve (and would want to do it for all clubs) and it would be printed in you-know-where.
How about it Mr Demetriou?

It could well transpire (a long way ahead) that St Kilda is setting a pattern for other clubs to mimic in future years. Already there is clear evidence that some are trying to, or have, copied our game style. Now this idea of resting certain players will be copied as well by clubs certain, repeat ce...

The SCG has upset many good sides over the years and suits the Swans close checking style. The first two qtrs were just a wrestle-- almost like ARL style-- but the thrird qtr they opened up and tried to go for broke but it suited us and we got ahead. Final qtr they closed it down again and with a co...

I have been a Raph fan all along but his opposition was weak last Sunday to the point that all of our boys stood out with perhaps one exception IMO- Kozzi.
But the heat will be on against the Doggies and I expect the claws and fangs will reappear for Raph.
