Re: 3 Big Improvers
Agree on Ross, don't see anything in him to suggest he will make it as an AFL footballer. I guess if he does he will be the biggest improver,as he is a long way off an AFL standard midfielder i disagree strongly with what you just posted...he has the quickest hands in our team...and one of the quic...

Re: Russell's Top 25 Saints
Dementia is yet to set in with me - Stewie is the best player I've seen in a Saints' jumper in the past 53 year, slightly ahead of Doc. Plugger third, I reckon Nick's 6 B&F's just shades Harves. i think you will be found to be correct......stewart was always rated as russell's no 1...not the do...

Re: The Club Needs A Place To Call Home
Whilst I love the idea of moving back to the Junction, the powers that be are dead against it. Moorabbin will (once again) be our oasis from the bureaucratic turds and tyrants. "Bureaucratic turds and tyrants" was supposed to be the whole problem at Moorabbin, with the Kingston Council. I...

It'll be interesting to see how fit he is compared to the others.
I was a tad disappointed that he hasn't spent the whole time improving his left foot kicking.

Re: The Club Needs A Place To Call Home
I can recall very clearly why the StKFC left the Junction Oval in 1964 - the Footy Club had no say in it's sub tenancy of JO and was dictated to by the Cricket Club. In all those years at JO as a sub tenant with "no say" regarding occupancy, we couldn't win a flag. A great decision by Hug...

Re: Chris Pelchen - The aftermath
I heard a Richmond official on SEN (about mid-week) discussing the possible trades they tried to do. He claimed they approached St Kilda re Armitage early on and were told no, under no circumstances. They then approached Melbourne re Trengrove for that same Pick #12. There was no 'deal for Armitage...

Re: The Club Needs A Place To Call Home
Don't let that pointless article in the age today sway you. It sounds like he's a cricket victoria sympathiser just trying out to discredit the saints and put another nail in their j.o coffin. Sure we have had two training grounds in the last 50 years and sold the odd home game. So what . Who hasn'...

Why is there a warning post in this forum? This is for football only. Use the PM to tell posters Give a warning to yourself and stop big noting…. Re: Jack Steven contract
I can see this guy leaving I keep saying it, he can't leave as he's a free agent but a restricted one I believe. We have total control as we can match any contract offer he gets. He might get paid a lot of money but the only way he goes is if we can't afford him. Considering we are paying future am...

I'm of the opinion that IF we have to relocate ( AGAIN  ) then it should be to a venue where we have a modicum of ownership! Moorabbin for mine. Happy New Year to all, by the way! Very true. Brighton/Elsternwick ? why the flower would we want to go there. "Elsternwick, which now sits in the fifth tier of the VAFA, has been based at the park for nearly a century. It now plays out of the secondary oval, with the main ground used for VAFA finals and feature matches. "As far as M...

All the players didnt like ! Darrel Bulldog as a coach...Apprently he wasnt a people's coach ( its not a personal attack on darrel ). By "Bulldog" I assume you refer to Baldock? But for the life of me, I don't understand how any true St.Kilda supporter would refer to him by that name. spo...
