From me too. You get well Playon and that would be best news to come out of here since you told us about your health issues.

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
gee this forum. overrates us vastly after a win; tosses the season in the bin after a loss. Fickle ? lol it takes a game like that to know where you are and I think we are lucky to be in the 8 but that's where we are, a fringe top 8 team. never more going into the season never more during. this pla...

Re: Mcstake
Probably the diabetes that's the issue Hope that is not what is holding him back because if that is the case then our recruiters have a lot to answer for. They get paid good money to make the right decision and this may haunt the club for a long time. He is a nice kid who has a lot of expectation o...

Re: Mcstake
I beg to differ. Bruce presented and made many contests, creating opportunity for others. His stats were poor but his team play was miles ahead of Paddy today. Paddy has no tank and his second efforts are almost non-existent.dragit wrote:Even with an ordinary day he was better than Bruce's last fortnight.

Re: Mcstake
He should grab a copy of that last goal Buddy kicked and watch it over and over and over again and spend the rest of the season busting his ar*e to improve his fitness, as sorry to say, Paddy has a hell of a long way to go.

Longer is garbage Dmac a long way off Roo needs to rest Weller is a passenger Montagna needs to retire Spot on Can't argue with that either. Unfortunate that Newnes went down and not someone like Montagna that always treads water. But of course could never happen, as Montagna would never put himsel...

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
God there's some hysterical people on here. Had a bad day to be sure, and got taught a lesson in toughness from an uncompromising team, but it's just that - a bad day at the office. There's losses and there's losses. Are you watching all the game? This is an embarrassment. There's no excuse for suc...

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
No. The problem is not enough hard players. All the outside, wait and receive players are on show today, especially with Newnes, who is oneof the few, gone for the day.

Anyone know if Jimmy's hand is badly bruised or broken? Fingers crossed it's not broken as he is starting to really complement our defence.

Re: Stevens can accept 1 week.
The fact he got a free kick should be enough to challenge this confusing decision on a technicality. I think there is a good chance that Koby will get off if it is taken further. As clear as mud is this laughable MRP. The umpire has to make a split second decision from one angle at normal speed. Th...

Unashamedly I shed some tears reading this but by the end I feel a strong vibe of hope and belief that you will prove the doctors wrong Playon. You are in control of your body so stay strong with positive thoughts always. Take care and hope the club gets to read this thread and see what great supppo...

He's a ripper and a quality person. Emerging as a star midfielder and will be better than Jobe his first cousin.

He is a lot better than what I thought. Gutsy and hard at it. Made an instant inpact after losing all that conditioning from food poisoning. The bonus is he will get better!

I noticed a number of Saints players going up to Josh Kelly at the end of the game and being quite friendly and it was both ways. There was a bit of a hug too with one of our players. Interesting!
