Adam Hartlett who was delisted today is an interesting one.

He is a 196cm key forward who emerged as a key defender this year with the Bullants and had a few senior games.

He mightn't be a bad pick up as a depth key back.

It is an interesting one regarding Steven King being appointed the ruck coach.

I wonder how much he is getting paid for the coaching gig.

Perhaps the Dogs should appoint Aker as their midfield coach. Pay him a base wage to play and $400,000 p.a to coach....brilliant.

Go to the AGM and ask instead of acting like some vapid outraged teenager demanding things.

FFS the truth is none of your business.
You have lost the plot Joffa...these sorts of questions are exactly what internet forums are for.

I think a part of it is that as Luke was sitting on the bench in the last quarter of a Grand Final waiting for an oppurtunity, BJ was out there with a broken nose and collarbone.

For an ex- captain and All-Australian, that can't be good for the confidence.

They just said on SEN that Conners believes the talks between Stk and Collingwood are extremely positive and that both parties are confident that a deal will be done. We are obviously holding out for a 'quality' player but as we know from Collingwood, they always rate their players much higher than ...

:D ....it was nice while it lasted.

Port couldn't find players willing to come there so they lump themselves on poor unexpecting picks 9 and 16.

X would have been one but that boat has sailed.

Goose maybe??? They have a good group of tall backs though so that may not be to their liking.

Hopefully Choco is on the phone as we speak convincing Ball of how valuable he would be to the footy club.

Maybe Chocco might offer him the captaincy....he would be a fair improvement on Casissi!!

I know we are dreaming but it is a bloody nice dream!!

Now that Hawthorn have lived up to their reputation and have been too arrogant to get a deal done, is Burgoyne on our radar? It is documented that he likes indigenous boys around the club and he would know Raph and Lovett from past Aboriginal All Star games. He is a proven goal kicker (has kicked 5 ...

Lyon staying in front of the curve

We all know that AFL clubs tend to follow trends and adopt game styles that successful teams use. I can see 'Lyon cages' or variations on them, will be trained and used by most teams next year. We also know that the only real way to get through this zone is run and carry. Therefore I think Ross is t...

This is difficult which I guess is a great postion to be in....fingers crossed for an injury free pre-season!! The side I posted is missing Ray who I think will be in the 22 and Dempster who I consider border line. If I was to bring Ray in, who would I leave out. Possibly Schneids ?? As much as I ha...

That would be close mate barring a bolter in the pre-season ala Dawson this year.

I like McQualter in the side for his pressure and role in the structure.

With the addition of Lovett and the emergence (hopefully) of Steven and Armitage, can Milne and Schneider both exist in the same team??

At his best, Bally is too good to allow O'Keefe to clean his boots.

Whether his best is behind him, however, is the question.

I think Stevie Baker needs some help in the Small Defender area as was exposed in the GF with Byrnes, Varcoe, Chapman and Johnson being two too many for us to handle. We know that Raph is not best suited here and Gram was exposed pretty badly in the Prelim. Goddard and Fisher are better when they ca...

The deal is a straight swap for X with about pick 60.

I dont understand why we would entertain this trade apart from a salary cap related issue.

I so hope it doesnt go ahead...he seems like such a high quality person who is great to have around the footy club especeially when he is fit and firing.

To talk of players like Pendlebury, Didak and Swan is farsical. The callibre of players they will offer up include Toovey, Cox, Wellingham, Goldsack, Barham, Reid and Brown. I think we are a small defender short and may be a depth key back short also. I would rather a Brown and Goldsack trade for Ba...

it's true his grand final was poor, but his last quarter against the bulldogs in the preliminary played a part in getting us over the line.
