can't see many supporters buying it until the result is known next week.
our long-term feelings towards GF1 will be completely dependant on next weeks result. If we win next week, GF1's second half becomes one of the great second half's we remember with fondness forever....but if we lose I feel we will treat GF1 like GF09 forever...
I suggest for those who taped it to watch it this week. at least we can enjoy the second half now regardless of what happens next week.
they are super quick getting them out now remember if you wait they will have the dvd with all radio commentary on it too so you can choose who you listen too

Probably. Do you think the winners next week are more likely to buy it or the losers?
Definitely think the winners. i havent watched a replay of 09 gf. and if we dont win i wont watch a replay of either 2010 gf. it'll all blend in to one.
None of us will ever want to watch those last 5 minutes again if we lose next week. our view of that game will be the one that got away. collingwood will be the same.

These are my thoughts exactly, if we win it will be a joyous game to look back on, if we lose all the what ifs will make it unbearable.
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

Seconded. I watched the replay last night and it was a spectacular match. If we don't win next week I'll probably never watch it again but until then it's great viewing.
They get the DVD out mighty fast these days. One of my worst memories from last years loss was walking around Chadstone and seeing the Geelong 2009 Premiers DVD lining the shelves of every store. A major kick in the guts.
Am worried if I bougnt this DVD and we lose Grand Final V2 I'd never touch the DVD again
bought the DVD this morning at JB HiFi .. simply because I've been wanting to watch a full replay and the AFL.com.au video streaming sucks out here in Paki where we are still on ADSL1 ...
And it does indeed have the 3 diff commentaries .. Seven, SEN & MMM .. hanging to hear Rexy's call of the final Qtr ..

Double spoils for the victor!
A shot at another Norm Smith... more Jack Collins medals... the real booty is the flag but there's so much gravy on offer!
Waiting and hoping for a bumper victory pack here.

Will burn it if we lose on saturday tho ..
Shame it doesn't have ABC Grandstand on 774, which is what I've always listened to.
MMM commentary just gives me the s***s - listened to it once for the Saints game Round 21 or something, when 774 was doing Freo vs Hawthorn in Tassie. I ended up turning it off cause I couldn't handle them screaming incoherently at me after every goal, but then later switched to 3AW.
Just seem to think AM commentators and the nature of the sound that comes from it works better while you're watching the footy at the ground.

Is Rex Hunt on SEN or MMM now?
I'm the total opposite. Find 3AW boring and monotone, and MMM exciting and entertaining. SEN whips 3AW, but still stick with MMM though.
I taped the game off TV and watched on Saturday night after I got home. Then on Sunday I listened to a full replay of the ABC call of the game.
Regardless of what happens this weekend, it was a great game of football that will go down in history as one of the all-time great grand finals. It was an incredible effort from the Saints to come back from that half-time deficit, and I don't care what happens in the replay, I'll always be proud of that epic second half of footy we produced.
774 has never done it for me .. but I totally agree that AM sound is just football .. its still weird listening to the call on FM radio to me ..
That said .. have been an unabashed Rexy fan since he started .. even if it means listening to him on MMM now .. and putting up with JB (who does annoy me with unnecessary over excitement) .. tho Garry Lyon is a great special comments man ..
Anyway .. I think the DVD has the 3 best calls .. nothing can compare to Bruce & Dennis for TV coverage .. Huddo & Co. were brilliant on SEN .. while Rexy is going OFF as usual listening to him now ..
I am merchandising this DVD. Should be in all stores by tomorrow. From previous experience they have never released any of the sporting DVDs on blu ray but you never know. Contact is Visual Entertainment Group to see if they will be. I know last year it killed me to put the Geelong DVD out.
