Norm Smith (II) Judges - hopefully some bias

The judges for the Norm Smith Medal for best player in the grand final replay are Tom Harley (chairman, Channel 7), Martin Blake (The Age), Stan Alves (ABC Grandstand), Dermott Brereton (SEN 1116) and Danny Frawley (Triple M).


What's the Point of it All?

Dermie's votes will be:

3 - D. Brereton (Haw, Coll, Syd) for being selected to be a judge.
2 - D. Brereton (Haw, Coll, Syd) for asking a five minute question that required a one word answer.
1 - D. Brereton (Haw, Coll, Syd) for being able to attract a hot, blonde young woman at his age and with that hairstyle.

Well Dermi hates us...

Harley is probably neutral...

MB has written ok articles on us over the years..

Hopefully Stan is over being sacked......

Spud may have one eye...but he also was an ass coach at the Pies..

Agree, except Dermie was coming round to us at half-time.

And if you watch Foxsports, you will know Spudder is ridiculously biased towards us.....btw - wore the Spudder jumper on Saturday and will be backing up again (bugger grown men not being allowed to wear footy jumpers!)

Bias or not, if we win there's a fair chance one of our blokes will get the medal.

If we lose I couldn't really give a toss about who wears the second Normie!

I really think that if BJ is in the top 4 or 5 players they will be looking to give him a vote after last week. Not necessarily the correct thing to do, but you'd be surprised if they didn't notice what he was doing this week more than what other players are.

Yeah, but an ass has one eye as well...

Not too sure if the any club requires an "ass" coach, but if the pies needed one, I would think that Spud wont go there.

He may have been an ass of a coach at Richmond, but that is really opinion based and I thought he did a decent job :wink:


Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
