Beau Dowler, Rhan Hooper, Beau Muston, Simon Taylor, Wayde Skipper and Cameron Stokes??

From what i saw last year Beau Muston had a few great games and is a good size. Simon taylor is a fantastic tap ruckman and would be good insurance if Big Benny doesnt take another step forward..

Only Muston for mine…
Hasn't been given many opportunities but can play…
After a debut of 31 touches & 2 goals, has only played 12 more.

The Hawks look like they are in damage control! :P

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Gary Moss is one that I remember playing a few decent games the year before last.... must be a reason that the Hawks didn't persist though....

Wikipedia wrote:Garry Moss (born 5 July 1988) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL. Attended Newman College in Churchlands, Perth, Class of 2005. Drafted by Hawthorn with 56th overall pick in the 2006 AFL Draft from East Perth in the WAFL, he is a midfielder who was on the Hawks’ senior list for two seasons before being delisted, but then re-drafted at the end of the 2008 season.

After making his league debut in 2007, his 2008 season was wrecked by injuries, but he managed to play several games for Hawthorn's VFL affiliate Box Hill Hawks. He then played his second AFL game against the Sydney Swans in round 2 of the 2009 AFL season. In Round 5 he was awarded the AFL Rising Star nomination following his 4 goal and 24 possession performance against the West Coast Eagles.[1]

It's great isn't it, I remember a few years back Kennett saying that they expected to win 2-3 flags in the next 5 years, they're recruiting in 05, 06 has turned out to be horrendous
2005
3 Xavier Ellis
6 Beau Dowler
14 Grant Birchall
18 Max Bailey
22 Beau Muston
2006
6 Mitchell Thorp
24 Brent Renouf

Moss and Muston have shown glimpses. Worth a pick up? I'm unsure. A big no to the remainder.

Having done a bit of research, none of their delisted guys would seem to be of much value.

All of have something but for a variety of reasons there are deficiencies in their games/lifestyles that mean they wouldn't be of much use.

What lifestyle choices are inhibiting them from good footy?

Let's try and get some talented young kids into the club.

People bemoan our lack of young players. Why load up with more 22-23 year olds?

They are all drug addicts.

I'd be prepared in this compromised draft to use our 144th pick on Beau Dowler.

Might be a good pickup if he ever gets his body right.

I am really surprised about muston. He was injured going into the draft and put him down the order from memory. Other wise there was talk of him being a very high pick.

It seemed like he should make it but his body let him down.

Gee the Hawks really didn't go so well in that era of recruiting after all. the were seen as geniuses for getting the drafting right, now they look like they are going for a rebuild.

He's already had 3 knee reco's I think.

But you are definetly right about him sliding in the draft due to injury. Was expected to be top 5 I'm pretty sure.
