Fisher has been delisted from Carlton. He is a very good mark and a lead up forward. Exactly what we are looking for and he wouldnt cost much. Seems the ideal late pick. Any thoughts?

Well given that we're about to delist Leigh Fisher we probably need to recrit this guy just so Sam Fisher's nickname remains current.

I thought he was going to be a gun but it looks like the lars surgery didn't go so well if they delisted him. He looked ok in vfl finals, he would be worth a Jessie Smith style speculation pick.

Let's get him with our 300th pick...that way when he fails we haven't wasted anything....

What are the rules on the mature age rookie spots? I remember thinking last year we should have picked up Russell Robertson with one of those previously afl listed mature aged rookie spots just as back up more than anything... maybe we should consider going down that road... I know noone else did it last year but lets do something different to work for us...

Re Fisher, I wouldn't waste a selection in the national draft on him

Yeah sure team barely scraps into the 8 bereft of any leading goal kicking options delist Fisher .... Sure sounds like the forward we have been looking for.

Well i think we need him and because of his experience he could be in our leadership group.

LOL...

Yes he has some talent but is suspect with ongoing injuries and one must think he was offered during trade week with no offers.

Any wonder!!!

One does wonder what his prognosis is with his latest surgery :?:

Yep, agree. With him and Harves coming back we could unpick the Blues game plan just like Collingwood did to us with Ball and Maxy. All the way to premiership glory. Bring it on Brad.

Yep, sounds ideal - let's draft Fisher with a late pick, or at least a mature age rookie spot

Agree with the OP. Althought I'd probably prefer we chased Max Rooke, talk him out of retirement. Maybe we could take both, just incase one of them gets injured. Better off taking them early in the draft with our first two picks, than risking them being there at the end

Don't hang sheet on the guy. Is a good player and in years gone by wouldn't have faced this situation

We need him to play that third tall forward role that all the other teams aren't using. Gotta stay ahead of the pack.

Also - Stanley to the wing, Roo to CHB and Walsh to kick a bazillion goals. Oh - and BJ as captain.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

Not getting much love with my Max Rooke brainwave?

What about if we drafted him,but got him to change his name by depole back to what it was in 2006,back to Jarrod? Might be the change he needs to get his injuries right, sometimes that's all it takes

I'd go further and say I can't recall a single post that wasn't a slur on Kosi.

What does that tell you?

The decontamination expense would bankrupt the club.
