Excitment
After watching the doco "challenge" last night, I feel really optimistic for the season, we know they will try their best to win that flag, and thats all we want from the team, right? With BJ looking to spark and become the afls most valuable player and possibly the no.1 player in the comp in 2011. And kosi getting into some form later in the season will be a big plus!!! GO THE SAINTS!!! rip the cats up!
GO SAINTERS

It's always good to get a "behind -the-scenes" insight into what's happening. Full marks to the Saints management for getting on the front foot for a change.
With great facilities, a great coach/mentor in RL, and playing AFL on the big stage, I can't see any way that these young guys will be anything but ready and keen to go on Friday night.
The game is a great first-up test for us and will give a good insight into their attitude, for what is a very long year.

As SainterK pointed out recently, we tend to overlook the impact these greatly improved facilities may have on the team.Junction Oval wrote:It's always good to get a "behind -the-scenes" insight into what's happening. Full marks to the Saints management for getting on the front foot for a change.

We talk about new recruits, improving youngsters, changing support coaches but this is the biggest change of all for 2011.
And as one of those people who have not yet visited Seaford, the doco was yet another opportunity to bask in it's glory.
The players obvious enthusiasm for the joint must come as a shock to those posters who suggested a mass walkout was on the cards if we moved south

Don't want to look at things cynically but it is probably another expense on top of the accommodation from Kimmies little bit of fun in the spot light.
I imagine the St kilda board sat down and thought all these bozos on our fan sight are bagging the club. We need a publicist now, thus the Challenge is born. A neat little beautifully produced publicity piece released through the internet to reach the tech savvy audience that were sending the dick pics viral.
I just imagine the ad agency would have needed a heap of nixon juice to come up with that, not cheap, and all so we could do some damage mitigation.
