The main reason Tommy Walsh should be playing for the Saints and not Sandy now is he has probably learnt as much as he is going to at VFL level. He now needs to move up to continue improving his skills. He is not going to learn much playing when he is one of the best week in week out.

would be happy to see Walsh and Simpkin slip into this team over next few weeks with Blake backing up and acting as mentor. Simpkin has been better than Walsh in the VFL and did well when he came in. He should be in contention as much as anyone. but Walsh will surely be a special versitile talent.

Everyone wants to see Tommy W play the "easy" game against GCS and have been going on about it thread after thread and now he's not even names in the emergencies despite being fit and picked in the side for Sandy.

WHAT'S GOING ON ??? :x

He only played 15 mins of the game last week beore being injured..who knows if hes subject to a fitness test? Hardly ideal prep for an AFL debut, GCS or otherwise

Why?/ cos they'll be easybeats?? I think a few Richmond fans might like a word with you lol

Seriously, any talk of "experiment agasint Gold Coast" is just nonsense in my eyes
I would have thought so considering we still will not be in the 8 when we play them.

We are in the eight & Richmond are hardly a premiership threat :P
