Loved his game tonight, read the play terrifically and was just about the general down back.

Showed poise and sure hands for the whole 4 quarters. Decision making and disposal, things he's regularly criticised for, we're better than most.

A great game from Raph.

Our defensive players we're all pretty good tonight.
Good to see Raph string a few good games together, will give him confidence and belief in himself.
2 great goals by Peake.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Agree. Where would we be without Milne?

Find another big bodied forward who can hold his place in a marking contest FFS. And quickly.

Rakph was excellent in the 2nd and third chopped off so many kicks and had good disposal.

It seems to me his instincts are great but when forced into situations with time to think he can get a brain fade (lack of confidence) and the last couple of weeks he just doing not thinking and it's brilliant.

All this while suffering from Epilepsy :)

many afl footballers? Epilepsy can be a very debilitating condition, Raph for a start wouldn't be able to hold a drivers liscense which would make life difficult to getting to seaford, it wouldn't stop him being a AFL just make it more difficult.

besides we won what are you doing posting?

bulls***. he can hold a driver's licence if the condition is under control. and i'd say it is under control because otherwise he wouldn't be able to train and play. so it would have very little effect on his day-to-day life except for a couple of pills that he takes.

Epilepsy CAN be a very serious condition...yes

But not in his case...

Some people have daily fits......he has had 1 in 25 years, ans didnt realise he had it for 22 years...

He has a license, and a car, and drives to seaford...

See what happens when you play a fair game. Just goes to prove people wont just critisise players if there is no reason to.

You are entering my area of expertise here;

Many people with epilepsy are able and permitted to drive, but it does need to monitored. Driving is NOT permitted for 6 months after an epileptic seizure (used to be 2 years). Licensing Authorities (VicRoads) may require periodical medical clearance from people with epilepsy. Other areas of lifestyle that need to be modified/monitored include; bright lights and sleep patterns !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Exactly how long has it been now? That was entirely my point wasn't saying having epilepsy meant you could never drive. It was only a little over year ago now he had his first seizure. I did think it was still 2 years thou, not six months

I'm guessing, but I think Raph's seizure was early/pre-season 2009 !!
