Ladder Predictor
As far as my predictions are concerned we'll meet Collingwood in the prelim. Thoughts?
Whatever our result, it appears we'll be meeting the Swans in the first round of finals, even if we take losses to Collingwood, Sydney & Carlton (Personally I'd like to believe we can beat both the Swans and the Blues)
My result has (Qualifying and Elimination Finals)
Collingwood v West Coast
Carlton v Essendon
Swans V Saints
Geelong v Hawthorn
(Semi Finals)
West Coast v Carlton
Saints v Hawthorn
(Prelim)
Collingwood v Saints
Carlton v Geelong
....I'm not even going to attempt to predict the winner of those two games
Who else is getting a similar outcome?

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

If we lose to them then we must win 2 out of the 3 others to get a home final. That is a big ask. We must beat them at their ground. 4 out of 5 interstate this year should give us confidence and we arent play at the SCG would should also help.degruch wrote:I've been going over that ladder predictor for months, with the same outcome - Saints v Swans at home. However, we've got to nail at least one more to get there, I figured on the pessimistic side (to not get my hopes up) and marked the Swans game as a loss, despite our recent record against them.
from memory, if we beat the swans and north then home final against the swans is assured from my predictions. if swans beat us then i think we need to get up against the blues to get the same outcome.
if we only win 1 out of 4 (beat north, lose to coll, syd & blues) then it will be saints v swans in sydney,

I've done it about 20 times, and keep reaching the same conclusion.
After we beat the filth this week, we'll be half way towards our 14 consecutive victories on the path to winning the premiership in a canter.

yeah, wcoast are likely 4th so a loss to coll will mean they play winner of carl v essendon in perth.
look at this for an example
- stk beats swans (in melb) and then plays say hawthorn in second week.
- carlton finishes a street ahead of us, beats essendon and then has to trek to perth in the second week.
6th is a much better place to finish in that case.

I would rather not make the finals than lose to Essendon… truly.plugger66 wrote:Yep we may get to play the Dons. I would rather Sydney in Sydney to be honest. I was going to predicate that by saying that I want the Swans to keep winning after that so that wouldn't happen. The Dons at the Dome...eeeek.plugger66 wrote:Yep we may get to play the Dons. The only problem with that is we play them a week later.SaintPav wrote:I was going to predicate that by saying that I want the Swans to keep winning after that so that wouldn't happen. If we are afraid of the dons, we have no hope IMO of beating any of the top 5.
