But will it feel like a home game??
Given all the filth fans that are everywhere and breeding as we speak, I have my doubts that the majority of fans will be Saints fans.
Unlike the Geelong sellout in 2009 where we got 54K in attendance, I don't think anywhere near as many Saints fans will be there.
No doubt plenty of reserved seat holders will take along Pies fans, plus filth fans would've been much quicker to snap up the unallocated seats on Level 3 that are normally walk up seating.
My tip is 55% filth, 30% saints and 15% neutrals (given it's a big match).
Thoughts?

The Pies supporters seem to sneak in everywhere - they are used to doing it.
I know a few Saints fans without Reserved seats, who will "never" take their chances in general seating against the Pies. I think that this feeling goes for many other Saints supporters, who aren't prepared to put up with the abuse and filthy language.

The Pies WILL be louder and noisier and have passion. AS THEIR SIDE RUN OUT THROUGH THE BANNER. The Pies WILL be louder and noisier and have passion AT THE FIRST BOUNCE. They have strength in numbers so it follows that they will be louder. HOWEVER.... that noise and support can be made to evaporate IF the Saints take the game up to the Magpies and (hopefully) get a good start. As far as this poster is concerned its OUR home game and NOTHING will make me fear the opposition!
I believe in the power of the possible! while respecting the power of the probable, nobody gives us ANY chance this week (including sadly some of our own) I give us EVERY chance!!! Until we have no prospect of victory!
This mob have plenty to gloat about, and hate them as much as I do, they are an awesome football team, the challenge is there for ALL of us to do our bit for the club this friday!
Cool heads and strong nerve people!!!! It's there to be won!!!

Thats me.....i haven't yelled at the footy for over 10 years....jonesy wrote: The culture of showing little or no passion is now engrained in the average Stkilda supporter
The idiots around me spend the majority of the game abusing the umpires or
whining about under performing players of the team they are meant to be supporting....pathetic really.....
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.
Start yelling then if you want to create atmospherebobmurray wrote:Thats me.....i haven't yelled at the footy for over 10 years....jonesy wrote: The culture of showing little or no passion is now engrained in the average Stkilda supporter
