I think we were pretty insipid today, particularly the spuds of which I could have ordered $100 worth of chips and there still would of been plenty left over.
No we didn't, but they had a lot more to lose and were a hell of a lot more desperate.
Opportunity lost, all we can do is hope we turn up against the Roos and that today hasn't cost us a finals spot.
STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.
''I still get really excited, and I've got the '66 thing up on the wall in a frame … You look at it and think: one day, we want to achieve that.''- Arryn Siposs
No way. Just an insipid performance. You cant gamble on winning games to the top 8 or you may end up facing West Coast in Perth.
Bring out the shrinks for this performance today. Sydney obviously did after last week.
I was only joking. I just wanted to give plugger66 something else to get all excited about and refer to for the next couple of years. Just in case he gets tired of twisting other things I've said and repeating them over and over again, as though they have some relevance.
Did we purposely loose this game? I seriously doubt it. Heading to the finals with back-to-back losses is hardly inspiring & we put our place in the eight in jeapardy. The losing margins of our last two games were flattering & we have two really hard games ahead. We must win at least one of these!
Makes next saturday night's game VERY exciting!!! I'm ready to give it everything as far as supporting the boys from the stands goes, WILL the team be ready for the effort? We saw a desperate and eager side beat us for effort today, North will be a similar prospect. I may be way off the mark here, and admittedly only HEARD the game, but from all accounts Roo is playing with a bad injury, and maybe he should be rested? Or played in another posi?

Zac & Kosi getting gastro & Baker coming in as a Sub, I think Ross may have done a favour to his old team.
I know people will throw the kitchen sink at me but thats only I can console me with.
May be we are confident of beating North next week & had we beaten Sydney their season is pretty much over.
Once again I am sorry but thats what my opinion is.
What you are suggesting is that RL and co committed to doing something illegal, which would completely risk their integirty and level of profressionalism altogether.
Not to mention, risking being found guilty of match fixing, facing a jail sentence and also having the club being crucified by the AFL on account of it.

Hard to believe that they would throw a game and probably not at all true, but this is far from the dumbest theory.
Sydney plays Geeolong at Skilled stadium next week. Probably won't win. Then they play Brisbane, probably will win.
Saints play North, probably will win, then they might lose to Carlton. Unless there is a blow out, Saints should end up with the higher percentage which may result in them playing Sydney at home rather than their "Bogie" Team Essendon. Not so dumb after all!
But if they lose to North, then this WAS the dumbest theory!!![/quote]
