Options for Armo
Do we go taller in the forward line where Armo is playing and play the messiah or do we bring in Cripps as sub and play Geary as a defensive forward. Cant see many other options.

Latter seems the better balance to me, assuming Cripps can play a half.plugger66 wrote:Do we go taller in the forward line where Armo is playing and play the messiah or do we bring in Cripps as sub and play Geary as a defensive forward. Cant see many other options.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

My wife spoke to him Saturday night and he was sore but the leg felt great. The problem could be an early injury.Thinline wrote:Latter seems the better balance to me, assuming Cripps can play a half.plugger66 wrote:Do we go taller in the forward line where Armo is playing and play the messiah or do we bring in Cripps as sub and play Geary as a defensive forward. Thought Gamble was playing his role before injury/dropped ...so would be happy to see him back.plugger66 wrote:Not sure we can bring in another backman. Armo should be replaced by a forward. I suppose gamble is another option.desertsaint wrote:walsh.
or if he is to be delisted, give bakes a swansong. if he rips it up he'd be handy in the pressure of dinals. if not, he gets the goodbye he deserves.
Jack Newnes happy to be a Saint !!!! PS and to hit a target !!!

That really is upsetting. I can handle her not liking me but people on here i thought loved me. Disappointing to say the least. At least i know you like me.bergsone wrote:She sounds like all on hereplugger66 wrote:Because she likes him a hell of a lot more than she likes me.kosifantutti23 wrote:Why was she feeling his leg?plugger66 wrote:My wife spoke to him Saturday night and he was sore but the leg felt great. Horses for courses, we had the cattle to cover and exploit North one on one, but it's a new gameplan for Carlton. Our defenders seem to have struggled with their small forwards in the recent past, so that needs to be taken into account. Mind you, our form is better running into this game than the last two times we met...they only just escaped early this year.Old Mate wrote:Got to bring in a small/medium ie Baker, Lynch, Cripps or Gamble. I would also like to see Walsh come in but at the expense of Blake. Hang on can't make two changes seeing as we won
In: Walsh & Lynch
Out: Blake & Armo
Really hope Armo is recalled once his suspension is finished

The Messiah can wait until next season.
I think go with an in-form forward like Walsh.

On second thought I think Cripps should come in (if fit enough) for Armo. Still think Walsh for Blake. A more offensive option and I dont think it will impact on our defensive set up too much if at all. Blake has been in and out a bit throughout the season. I like Cripps' speed in the forward line....

Aren't they the same person?bigcarl wrote:The Messiah can wait until next season.

With a home final hanging on the outcome, I'd like to think we don't decide to debut a player, not against a unit like Carlton. Gamble's got to be an in on his previous form, I'm not sure Bakes is up to Carlton's small forwards.

They could push Polo forward and bring in Bakes.
It's such a shame that Sydney got up, because a dead rubber would have been perfect for Walsh.
But I'd say: In: Gamble Out: Armitage (susp)

The idea of not playing a first gamer isnt a consideration its play most inform players and at the minute Walsh is banging on the door the loudest.degruch wrote:Aren't they the same person?bigcarl wrote:The Messiah can wait until next season.
