I'm obviously not up with the lastest lingo. What does "killed it" mean?

Did very welll
played the whole game although he slowed during the last quarter
and the team was overrun..

Cripps also played and got through unscathed

Sipposs played in the reserves On Sunday and appeared to run the game out well..

Pity that will probably be it for all of them this year and for MG, ever.

ST KILDA
Sam Crocker (shoulder) season
David Armitage (suspension) 1 week
Rob Eddy (arm) 2-3 weeks
Jackson Ferguson (shoulder, thumb) season
James Gwilt (knee) season
Lenny Hayes (knee) season
Will Johnson (shoulder) season
Tom Ledger (hamstring) season
Andrew McQualter (shoulder) season

ON THE BLOCK: Will depend on match-ups and the need for more speed on the MCG

ON THE CUSP: Michael Gardiner, Ryan Gamble, Steven Baker, Tom Walsh

BRUCE MATTHEWS' FORECAST: If Gardiner is to figure in finals plans, he must test that knee and hamstring under AFL pressure this week. Jamie Cripps (calf) has started back in the VFL and it now seems too late to debut big Irishman Tom Walsh

...sad but true re tommy.....ross misses the boat again....

What actually happened to Siposs? Cripps any chance this week? Maybe Ben can have the week off, he has been beaten vs Mummy and Goldstein over te last two weeks which is a worry. Might be good to freshen him up and give MG a farewell game/see if he is up to it

Yes, probably correct, cant afford to have him lingering on the bench. Could ease a player through uptil this season with the four i/c bit hard now.

that's the most optimistic injury quote i've ever seen. even if our season is still going in two or three weeks, what chance eddy gets his first game for the year in a cut-throat final having not played for a couple of months?

i think "season" might have been more accurate...

They might be saving him for the Grand Final

Siposs has had shin splints for the last 7-8 weeks. Back to full training now. Available if required in the finals.

Cripps is available this week but is very unlikely to be selected.
