Are you ever happy with this forum?

I think you need to find something more up your alley.
Mate everyone of your posts are whinging about something so maybe you should have a good look in the mirror. Be careful not to look to hard you will probably get scared.
And every one of your posts are whinging about other people whinging!

If you don't like people whining, then perhaps a forum is not the place for you! That's pretty much what forums are all about.

McAvaney's a twerp.

This is just another example of his relevance to anything ...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

If you go back over my history of posts, I would say that I am positive in my comments, and not negative, 99% of the time.

But it is a very tough time in my life, and I find myself getting upset at the most minor things. So I vented to check if I heard it right, which I didn't.

Don't worry about it mate....not a problem

Having seen some of Bruces, ahem, camper work in some old Sportsworld ads on Youtube, there's plenty of material to get annoyed at him about! Image

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

A forum is a place to vent. Saintly heaven knows I have done it enough recently.

As for Bruce, I have grown to find him annoying in the last few years, but my impersonation of 'delicious' certainly got a few laughs last night. Unfortunately, I was alone.....

Only saw part of the Brownlow coverage, but happened to hear that part with Dal Santo, no big deal, but not impressed by it.
McAvaney is generally a massive try-hard.

Exactly. A little tongue in cheek from Bruce. I definitely don't think he is a St.Kilda hater.

Perhaps we should have Luke Darcy presenting the Brownlow instead? *shudder*

I was proud of Bruce's comment. It was bloody funny and Dal pissed his pants laughing when he heard it! It was a tongue in cheek comment referring to days long gone by.

At least Dal has a decent sense of humour! His suspenders attest to it!

On a slightly different tack, I thought the way he handled the Sam Mitchell inability to win and therefore his absence was handled so poorly.

Describing the scenario of Mitchell, at that stage, as he discussed the issue with Luke Hodge "as the elephant in the room" was maybe a topic best left unsaid. Hodge looked uncomfortable and wanted to be anywhere else rather answer McAvaney's stupid questions.

The Mitchell family have closer personal issues with the health of their babies, so do you think Sam Mitchell is going to worry about missing out on the Brownlow?

I thought Luke Hodge handled it beautifully though, thought he was very classy

I agree, Hodge did handle the situation well, but McAvaney should have never have asked him questions about Sam Mitchell.

He had to. It was a story. The guy was leading the brownlow but couldnt win it. They couldnt ignore that.
