Is anyone else having a problem getting SEN online going. I get the home page but no link. First time I have seen the page like this. Normally has the box to click to Listen Online.

Bad morning for the page to be playing up. We don't get reception on the radio for SEN here.

With the other coaching press conferences Superfooty showed the stream from FoxSports on there, so might be worth checking it out.

SEN just announced they will take the PC live at aprox 11am. Finally got the app up on the IPOD.

Thx everyone, looking forward to what Scott says regarding the Asst coach, remaing part of trade week, salary cap, game plan etc.

Wasn't Lyon also announced as our coach in 2006 around the 14th or 15th of Oct.

I don't remember the date, but yes was during trade week (which is longer this year).

Good that he is in now...as he is in, in time to be involved in any late trades (or insisting that player is kept etc like Walsh).

Highlights

Watters

- excited to be on board
- admired the playing group and their spirit for a few years
- selection process was really professional and thorough and that gave him confidence
- You need to rebuild constantly and that doesn't mean you can't contend
- Siposs, Cripps, Ledger among a really exciting bunch of kids that will be given every opportunity
- we will set the benchmark very high for this team
- need to maximise player development
- the defensive DNA of this footy club is to be admired. But we need to evolve over the next 6 months as well as over the coming years
- Add to what's there
- Group is ready for a change - change brings opportunity
- lots to do
- group is ready to accept the challenges
- Always working on culture of the club, "We've had some challenging times over the past few years"
- There is a line in the sand with a new coach, Incredibly professional on and off the field.


Spoke of "we" from the first word not like Lyon who spoke about Sydney more than St Kilda. ;)

Agreed SB. Nice to hear words such as "we" and "us" so early on in the piece. It's a bit annoying that SEN cut the press conference short but from what I heard he spoke very well.
