Had a very enjoyable catchup last night over a couple of beers at the Vineyard in the heart of St.Kilda with Nick ..one of the originals who basically help start the first early incarnation of Saintsational along with Damian in the early to the late 90's and we were reminiencing about some of the old characters who sadly don't seem to post anymore including Nick himself ...like ,HSV King, krab,Harveys Disiple ,Moose ,Furphy and many names that I'd almost forgotton or hadn't even heard of.I first joined around 2002 even though it shows as 2004...the year of the crash !!
Just interested in what old names people can remember and who they miss the most..also what year they joined ..didn't realise that the site in its early form was quite that old ..

I miss 'sonof66', wizsteppa (though often see him lurking!!), Krabby and Spelly. What ever happened to Holly Valance? He was always great for a giggle.
I met Holly in Adelaide once. He was a very nice bloke. I saw Spelly from a distance at the 2009 GF but she didnt see me. Saw Damien last year in Adelaide. Hes a very busy lad nowadays. I should say hes a very busy man.
I remember when poochy used to visit and stir everyone up.
I joined back in 2003 when there were rumours Milne would be traded. Back then he was a bit of a whipping boy and I basically joined to catch the latest news and stick up for him should anyone dear bag him!
These days I don't tend to post, just browse for the latest news in the hope that the last few pages haven't become sledge matches between a few posters.
the origin date given for SS on the web is 2002- So heading for 10 years old.
Prior to that Saints Chat via the early saints.com.au was active and continued as such till just a few years ago.
I remember the good old days of saints chat, would always want to rush on to talk about the game right after the final siren...
It seemed like 80% of people would make their own comments which would never be replied to whilst a few people would have their own little conversation often unrelated to the game.... not much has changed
Don't know how I didn't hear about saintsational until 2007 or whenever it was I joined.

Haven't posted for a long time but still occassionally visit to keep up to speed. To be honest serial pests like one with 23000 posts and who is full of self importance and constantly highjack threads puts me off a bit.Still some good posters here keeps me coming back!
There are freaks and freaks and Baldock was both of those.
I remember talking with saintbrat, noddy and a few other people on the old Saints chat on saints.com.au. saintbrat could probably say for sure, but I think it was around 2002 or 2003? In fact, I think Grant Thomas used to drop by off his own accord every now and then which was fantastic.
