Just to let anyone know that is interested Virgin Blue has a sale on at the moment for flight to the Gold Coast for the weeks during our game against the Suns on the 9th June prices are $79 plus $12 extra for 23kg luggage and $9 booking fee so $95 each way for me and the better looking half you can not go wrong.
Jetstar also have flight for $69 but there extras are a lot worse $18 extra for 20kg luggage and get this $15 for each person, each way for booking fee.
No advertised flight yet with Tiger.
Me and the better looking half made the trip this year and had a ball, well worth doing.
Is that confirmed Plugger14? As I heard on the news the other day that they are going to change the date for Queens Birthday holiday to later in the year.

Due to special Jubilee celebrations in 2012 there will be 2 long weekends. June & October, then from 2013 will be just Oct each year.

Tiger Airways has put on a 1pm flight on to there flight schedule. Don't fly Tiger use there $69 flight to price compare on to the 12.45pm Jetstar flight. That what we have done, saved heaps.
As Plugger said book early because it is a long weekend.

What discount does flight compare give you?
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Same price, then 10% off. Got flight for $63 plus $20 for 20kg luggage. The Jetstar price at the time was $119 plus $20 luggage. $83 one way to the Gold Coast during a long weekend and a footy game on, is cheap as chips
