Malthouse as academy director???
The topic of the new academy director seems to have gone very quiet recently. Is it just fanciful to think that we could do without the role for this year with a view of getting Malthouse next year???

It has gone quiet on that role ... Maybe some one like Dennis Pagan would be a good fit ? I would be over the moon if we got Leigh Mathews ... Malthouse I'm not to sure on

Dennis Pagan actually had North working well because he developed the list himself as their under 19s coach. He has the runs on the board as far as working with youth and giving them common direction. Could find worse, he was really unlucky with what happened at the Blues, walked into a storm he couldn't see coming.
