good turn out given the time. was the first open training i have attended and it was very eye opening in a good way.

ive been hugely critical of stanley but now ive seen it. this kid is going to be something!!!!!

ledger, cripps, wilkes impressive snapping from the boundary.

OH BTW saw the coaching group running out of the stadium. looks like they decided to have a run back to the hotel rather than catch the bus. in 39 degree heat. they were running towards kings park which means its atleast a 10-15km run. IMPRESSIVE!!!!

Just dont understand how people can say "this kid is going to be something" after watching a training session.

Obviously - because part of what it takes to be a successful player can be on display at a training session.

At the end of the day it's just someone's opinion.

No big deal.

I, for one, hope defacto's on the money.

Really good crowd at the session .. Lots of kids that was great to see .. Western Saints president Helen Creed had a loong chat with Michael Nettlefold about future training sessions in Perth and the response was possitive..beau Wilkes is really putting in the hard yards to make the most of his opportunity at AFL level ... Highlight of the day the massive cheer form the fans when Lenny ran out !!! Lowlight the saints fan asking Netters if he was part of the fitness staff   ... Now looking forward to the big game !!!
