Re: Lynch at CHF for the Crows?
One of the bigger HFF's I have stood beside.......what ever a HFF is???
No positions in afl footy.....with fwd structures and set up being more important in modern footy than ever before??
You're joking???
Maybe you meant traditional positions??
So what is lynch?? Well I have seen him play three roles
A hit up tall marking fwd.....a role he plays well due to his smarts, engine and size
Utility tall half back.......reads the ball Well, skills ok, decision making good
Midfield.....big bodied mid, occasionally played there at sandy and found the footy a lot, was creative....but ground skills and kicking skills not AFL standard
Really he is a poor mans
Gilbert, Fisher or Goddard.......can play different roles.

Re: Lynch at CHF for the Crows?
He is only a sub because he couldn't play a full game on the gold coast at this time of year with his complexion.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Re: Lynch at CHF for the Crows?
yeah i reckon he will get a gig K
peeps are pumped over here
guys at work reckon they have a slight sniff against the hawks
my comment was
"be real"
you never know
imo the hawks have to many goal kickers
tipex will take 6 marks and kick 1.5
so if walker doesnt kick a bag theyre shot
(imo)
but please no
dont let them get up
i'll never hear the f****** end of it all week at work

I thought we were a real chance against Hawthorn every time we have played them for ten years - but Adelaide are not us, I reckon Adelaide might, if they are lucky, avoid a very huniliating 100 point plus defeat which sets them back 12 months, like North got in Perth.

Hawks smashed us in the 2008 prelim and the next year we had one of the best seasons ever.samuraisaint wrote:I thought we were a real chance against Hawthorn every time we have played them for ten years - but Adelaide are not us, I reckon Adelaide might, if they are lucky, avoid a very huniliating 100 point plus defeat which sets them back 12 months, like North got in Perth.

and I would be very happy if McKernan could join the Saints asa second ruckman.Old Mate wrote:The Crows are in good shape. The Redeemer wrote:Vince is above average, why do people rate Petrenko? To me he is on the same level a McQualter...he runs around and attempts to tackle? Knights probably is not in the round one side and Van Berlo is a joke (externally) as a captain.SainterK wrote:Yes they will miss Phil Davis.
Vince, Petrenko, Knights, Van Berlo....all around the right age.
Think Jacobs will be a good ruckman.
I reckon they will go OK.
Jacobs is a gun.
Interesting to see how Talia develops, same with Thompson and to see if McKernan can play at all.
Their midfield is top notch. Scott thompson is a gun. Vince has the potential to be a gun. Dangerfield, Mckay and Sloane are up and comers. Van Berlo is solid are you sure you're not confusing him with Rielly?
Their forward line with Tippett, Walker and now Lynch looks very handy.
Agree that their backline needs work.
Anything less than a home final and i'd be surprised.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency
