The feud developing between eddy and malty is possibly destabilising , along the same lines Rodney Eade was raked over the coals by eddy for giving out too much info about the pies on eades television segments.

Those odds are very interesting! The bookies are back on the saints!
I must say I had us written off but the biggest 1 factor that is turning me is the obvious fact the boys are enjoying playing footy again. This could create momentum and in turn confidence

Not sure we'll get there but certainly juicy odds!

When do we play over there. I thought we were going to NZ.

bad call.
we are 2-1 after playing 3 of the bottom 6.
pies having a hard draw and some injuries. but we will find it tougher in the 2nd half of the year.
lets keep it in our pants..

Interesting.
So you could back last years two grand final teams, Cats and Pies, to make top four, and if just one gets there (a near historical certainty) you make money!? Interesting...
Seems awfully tempting, but I get the feeling this is going to be a year where footy is turned on its head. The game has evolved again, its moving now in the general direction of attack, away from the defense that it has gravitated around since '09.
Could well be a very different looking top 4 this year, wouldn't be surprised to see something like:
West Coast
Carlton
Hawthorn
Sydney
Or possibly even an Essendon or an Adelaide in 4th spot.
Or a St.Kilda?

It's amazing how different the odds are with the various agencies. As I said earlier, we're $15 for the flag at TAB Sportsbet, but $36 at Centrebet as well!whiskers3614 wrote:Saints $7 for top 4 on Betfair.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:WOW. As for Collingwood, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this whole drama with Mick M galvanises their club. It could be like a "cutting of the cord" between Mick and the club and playing group.
Some may have been resentful of what happened to Mick and that he's not still coaching them and it could have been affecting their performances, but now this whole thing will sort of make them realise without a doubt that he is gone and not coming back, or a part of their group anymore.
They will have to draw a line in the sand and will realise that whether they like it not, Buckley is coaching them now, so they'd better deal with it and make the most of it. Once that happens they will start moving forward with purpose again.
YOU GET WHAT YOU SETTLE FOR.

maybe. but i reckon most likely is just one change from last year:hungry for a premiership wrote:Could well be a very different looking top 4 this year, wouldn't be surprised to see something like:

collingwood
geelong
hawthorn
i'd be massively surprised if collingwood didn't get in, so that $3.75 looks pretty good money.
