Scott said he wanted to get the balance right, and the most recent side he coached was #1 and #2 in defence/attack respectively. I know some people are getting frustrated, but it's evident where he is trying to get to I think?
Will be interesting to see at the end of the season how many goals and how many players scoring more than 5.
And compare that with 2010 under Ross.
I suspect under Waterss
- a lot more goals
- a lot better spread

The truth is we had one win and one draw at the same stage last year and not two more wins this year as you wrote but let's not let the FACTS get in the way
AND not forgetting we lost to Geelong by a point in round one only because Blake had a brain fade in the last minute!
let's not be too hasty to write off his efforts so far
Yes, we've had some real tough games against Port, Gold Coast, Bulldogs and Melbourne so three wins is a stellar performance!

I must be strange as many will probably agree but that stat does nothing for me. We are 3 and 3 and have played 3 of the worst sides in the AFL. I still say winning ugly kills losing attacking footy. Yes we have scored more but come back and revisit that stat when we play some good sides. We have only played one side in the 8 and that was a home game against an interstate side. This isnt having a go at Watters. Just pointing out that we may be a little more attacking but we are losing ground defensively because of that.

Correct. It's a consequence of not having most of our players behind the ball most of the time. It means that when we win we can potentially win big, but that there can also be some blowouts in the other direction as well.
We need to tighten up defensively and keep on attacking.
