Carlton kicking the difficult shots we're missing the simple ones.

We are dead set flogging them at clearances and the harder ball.

Skills letting us down.

That said, we are in this.

If we could tighten up FFS...

milera from the goalsquare 1m out. The only place we're guaranteed to convert from tonight. Now free to Farren.

Umps look like they're trying to make up to us for all the sh1t decisions in the first 6 rounds.

Suck it Carlton.

Ok, the players attitude is there for this one...

We should go the distance with em.

I know the comms have made this comment already but they are spot on... Roo looks "on" tonight... but that won't sustain if he keeps missing goals he should be converting.

We already look better with Saad and Milera both in the forward line putting on defensive pressure.

Good quarter quite frankly.

Despite Brian Taylors absolute masterbation over Carlton, Saints were the lookers that quarter.

Clearances, contested ball, hard balls....we won easily. Looked more desperate at times and to be honest, A couple of Carltons were cheapies over the top or on overlaps.
Not to mention Judd's goalsquare tinarse. Blake got suckered on one also. Unlike him.

The intent is there. It really is and I am for one, kind of surprised and pleased to see it. I thought Carlton would flog us.

Happy in the pants so far.

Good first quarter for us. We are on top in the middle. Our forwards are looking dangerous. We are pretty useless down back but are hanging in there so far, but might struggle to do so for four quarters. It's basically a shootout. You'd be inclined to back Carlton because they have the more accurate sharpshooters. But we're a chance.

Great endeavor and fighting by the Saints.

Skills will kill us by the end IMO.

So, what was the story with umpire telling Milne to go off and get another jumper?
Does this mean we can rip up Judd's jumper to get him off the ground?

Farren Ray should never be out of the side for Polo, seriously is silk compared to Deano, plus cracks in pretty hard.

Saad kicks a beauty.

BT keeps it in his pants though.

Judd fumbles running through the middle.

BT left with it in his hand.
