5. Jason Blake - Sterling job on Waite. Only goal Waite got was a result of a shocking Gilbert turnover in the 1st quarter.
4. Lenny Hayes- Keeps on keeping on. Wins the hard ball, uses it well, typical Lenny performance.
3. Farren Ray - Great come back game. Didn't shirk an issue, used the ball better than usual, strong in the contest
2. David Armitage - Really pleasing game. Best thing for me was the way he created an option on the switch. Great gut running.
1. Sean Dempster - Solid as a rock. Makes great decisions with the ball in his hand, and rarely loses a contest. Our Mr Reliable.

Couldn't fit Jones in, even though he did a BRILLIANT job on Murphy. Thought Milne really set the tone with his (uncharacteristic) pressure and 4 goals. Gram unlucky too, didn't butcher the ball and was physical.

Overall a really nice win.

5. Ray - Probably his best game for the club. Dominated.
4. Hayes - Just an amazing player keeps going and going.
3. Blake - Just quietly went about his business. Shut Waite right out of the game and rebounded well himself.
2. Armo - Put in a hard shift. Great clearance work and seems to have significantly improved his endurance.
1. Monty - Worked really hard probablyhis best game of the year so far.

Although he is my son apparently, I thought he was very good last night & only one person could get him in the votes…
24 touches, 7 tackles, 4 clearances, 4 i50's
Not bad for someone who doesn't play well against the good sides.
Barely mentioned in the hysteria though…

Poor old Blakey -- always just missing out on the votes!

(We love you the way you are Blakey, and wouldn't want to see any Brownlow vote spoil that.)

Its peoples opinions. it isnt a fact thing. Steven got 7 coaches votes and you didnt put him in your best 5 because I would think in your opinion he wasnt. Doesnt make either right or wrong.

Hey buddy,

Who fascinated in who, haha....

Steven was very good, as was Blake, Armitage and a few others..... CJ IMO was outstanding, aren't I allowed an opinion??

Maybe just not in your eyes..... I could just give my favourite players votes... To really discredit the thread
