When you check how many times each of the current top 8 teams play each other in the second half of the season, it shows Adelaide play the least and Geelong the most.

WCE have 6 plus Carlton & Freo
With such a tight top 4-5 at the moment, you would assume that Essendon, Adelaide & Hawthorn should be a pretty good chance at top 4 with only 4-5 tough (top 8) games…
A win over Adelaide would give us a great boost for the second half, a loss would probably mean we finish around where we are now.
