What were the clearances?

Felt like we were smashed in the middle all day....

I don't blame the defence, it starts in the midfield.

at half time the inside 50s were 28-28, so the second half was 39-25. ridiculously easy for north to get it in there, no wonder the defence had a tough day.

When you hold the ball and don't attack where else can the ball be....not down your end of the ground

at the final siren they had 2 more than us , however we were well up at 1/4 time , so from then on it was 17 -28 . this wasn't a total domination , but what hurt the most is they had forwards who could mark the ball when they got the quick centre clearance !

How do you expect to hold the ball in your F50 when One key forward cant get near it and the other one has zero second efforts and ball skills at ground level.

The stats show they only narrowly beat us in clearances

I would have guessed we lost it 40-20.
It seemed like they just keep sweeping it away.

Do the stats lie?
Or do they count ineffective semi-clearances as clearances even if the opposition then gain possession and take it away?
