Couldn't agree more!

What a soulless game... two boring clubs both devoid of any style, character, feeling, sense of occasion, atmosphere or fashion sense.... and their players are little better.

Thank God for Roy and HG!

They've been away far too long, but have lost nothing... just sit there for a few hours talking crap... and they talk it so well.

We beat them once and could have beaten them again at the SCG later in the season. We're not too badly placed for next year IMO

Well done Swans they have some real gutsy hard ball players. Don't mind the Swans they have less prima donnas than most clubs but a lot more heart. Thoroughly deserved this Flag, they played with tons of ticker and pure guts and determination.

A win for Sydney is a win for us.

No need to bottom out anymore....

Keep believing, striving for excellence, maintain a strong culture, recruit well.

Well, that was a tight game of rugby.

Swines 'bottom six' held up ok.

Helpful what an extra $800K in the salary cap can get you...

PS: Cup presented by Sydney Swans legend and triple Brownlow medalist Bobby Skilton(!?!) Can someone help me out here..., just how many games did the Chimp play for Sydney again???

Hawthorn were poor last week as well...

Best most 'consistent' team won IMO.

Did not say that they did not have heart and courage...............both sides did

one had an extra day break...fact

I did think about it.

I said Hawthorn wouldn't win right at the start of the season only to be labelled unobjective and bias by our resident know it all in Plugger

Hawthorn are a great team but there's something about them... under finals pressure (prelim stage) they just don't go on with it. They fell apart against Collingwood when they should have won last year, barely got over Adelaide when they shd have won comfortably and then today. Their game to lose.

Absolutely!

Sydney today have proved that you don't need a star-studded list to win a flag.

Teams in our position should definitely take heart from this.

Hi Jack. They were on News Radio today.

Will be back there tomorrow for Festival of the Boot part 2 - the thugby GF.

More..."Big stupid blokes smashing into each other for our entertainment."

Beyond that I'm not sure what they're up to.

I miss This Sporting Life. Missed them during the last olympics. Maybe they'll be back to fly their remote control derigible around inside the Canberra Tally Room again for the next federal election...? Apparently that really pissed off the the Channel 9, mob who were trying to be serious. Hil-bloody-larious I thought... :P

DO the Swans still really have a larger salary cap?

Only answer if you know it as fact.

It can't be true can it?

Cant remember that. Would love to see the post. Wow. 18 sides and you got it right by 7 points. Funny you didnt mention it before the game.
