Then pick 2, 13, 43 & a guarantee we wont go for Stevens if they are keen for Western Bullies for 5 & 6.

Give up Fisher, 13, 24 & 43
Receive Tyson, pick 5 & 6.

Its completely unrealistic but surely it makes you think about what could be if you were happy to entertain some out of left field trades!
Do you think Pelchen has nude photos of Sheedy and SOS doing naughty things to one another?

Thats how long Pelchen would take to accept such an offer.

If it was offered from GWS to us for Fish we can only assume Sam said he didnt want to leave and that was that.

I think someone over 30... you would think hard...
But we already are looking to bring in a key defender... that is why they will have rejected it
We would be scewed down back

Its all just fallen into place for me. We have lost BJ and Fisher could leave (doubt it). The reprocussions (spelling?) of not getting a Caddy are only just starting to be felt... we don't have anyone else on the list keen on golf do we? If so, I'll put my hand up to carry the bags!

Pick 2 for a 30 year old however good he is sounds like crap to me but if true the Saints certainly would have to think about it. The problem would be unless Chips got a huge wage increase I doubt he would want to go. Got his golf down here and all his racing contactts which will end up being his FT job I would think. Also getting rid of Chips as well as BJ wouldnt be fair on the oter older guys as they still would be thinking they could somehow win the GF. The club would obviously be thinking otherwise.

They are looking at bringing in a defender because we dont have anyone to put on very large fwds. We could have 22 medium defenders and still have the same issue. So I reject that argument. With Gwilt, Dempster, Simpkin, Siposs and Gilbo we have 5 good medium sized defenders plus an emerging one in Ferguson making it 6. That is sufficient for that position. We will still recruit a big defender anyway. We can cover Fisher now.

You'd reckon Sam would get a fair pay rise, he may be interested.
Who now wishes we traded Kosi when collingwood wanted him and were willing to pay?

To be honest no one gets traded for #2 pick at the age of 30.

No, but if Fish asked it would be a different matter.

But I'd put Roo up and see what they could come up with, then we may get 2, 5,6 and Dom Tyson!!

You don't trade loyal star players who want to be at the club. Fisher is a gun, our best key defender and a fantastic leader to teach the next generation. Trading guys like him is how you ruin the morale of a club.

No one wants him traded...
I thought the post was - 'what if GWS offered us pick 2 and Sam said he wanted to go to get 2 final years on big coin?'

Its all hypothetical I think. In this (albeit unlikely) scenario - then I think wed agree and do the deal.

That comment says so much about you. You do come across as the type of bloke who would do anything for money and make his wife do that.

Since we're in total rebuild mode, why not throw Riewoldt, Dal and Lenny in with the deal. Throw them all out and start again.

No way.

Nick may be interested.

Is Sydney closer to Houston than Melbourne is?
