Burkey's saintly heart-

Post: # 1290086Post saintbrat »

No matter what his topic Nathan cannot but show his saintly colours..

Current Inside Football comment piece is about his Christmas wish list.
whilst couching them in terms of the whole AFL/ all Clubs his wish list is Would be ideal for the Saints

and includes a slight hint of a whack for a certain journalist who made alllegations.

his List
1, Major sponsors- why will the spend on one off's but not a product that runs over many week
2, New Stadium Deals- hoping the new management at Etihad see reason and that soccer and music will not keep Etihad a float ( BTW at AGM it was noted that the Saints do not have a deal with Etihad but play there as directed by the AFL)
3, No more denial stories-- Media- Journos being truthful and not speculative.. looking for a denial from player or club.
4, Santa look after coaches so no one gets the axe in 2013
5,
'Finally big fella, if you have any magic left it wouldn't hurt to throw some the Saints' way. It's our 140th anniversay this year and with only one flag to our credit the Supporters deserve a lift."

I really can't think of a more loyal Sainter than Burkey. He seems a helluva nice guy too :-)
Talk about Strength Through Loyality !

Damien C... Hm, your surname isn't Cowell is it? If so that would make you one of the more famous Saints supporters.

Tism the season to be jolly...

I remember shaking Burkey's hand in the social club and congratulating him on his debut after his first game. Couldn't believe someone my age was playing ones...

Merry Xmas y'all and here's to a tops '13!!!

The future's so bright I've got to wear shades...
